The AU is a Jurassic Park AU called Barbed Wire and Guns Won't Save You Now
It's based off of the youtubers Lord0wnage, Kihec, JFrosty, and Bouqd, as they did a Jurassic Park Minecraft mod video
It basically follows the video, so you definitely need to watch them, but it deviates a little bit
Or a lot. Yeah, a lot, but you still need to watch it for context
Stuff under the cut is the lore atm
Lord0wnage and friends, aka Scream team, are invited to take an early access tour of the park
When they arrive, they're greeted by a few other famous Minecraft youtubers (like DanTDM, Technoblade, and Stampy Longnose)
Yes, Technoblade is alive, he never dies
Anygays
Ownage (Nicolauss), Kihec (Isaiah), Frosty (Jack), and Bouqd (Allen) are shown around like traumatized shelter puppies, and Nico eyes up the map (he has amazing direction skills; he can find even the greatest hiding spot in hide and seek), spotting the Indo Rex inclosure
Nico turns to the others and points at it, saying he wants to see it
The tour guide says that's off limits ( RED FLAG GUY WHERE ARE YOU)
Nico is suspicious
They move on to the other animals
More sus things happen
The rest of the boys get suspicious when the enclosures start shutting down
They meet more youtubers
Jacksepticeye and The Boys ( another YouTube group), as well as Jamesteo, Huge Deer, Stereo, and Puff join them
Nico sneaks off because he's special interest locked in on the Indo Rex and wants to see it
The stuff he finds is why trigger warnings and content warnings exist
The Indo is NOWHERE to be seen
Nico texts the newly made gc and warns the rest of the group
They're scared
He's scared
They run off to find him
It starts raining
A lot of death happens because THE CREATURES GOT OUT
Everyone is tweakin out, the group finds Nico
They make it to shelter
They find guns
And ammo
And the stuff used to make the dinos come back
Jack Frosty, the freak he is, knows Nico would LOVE to have some dino DNA, so he convinces Jack Seán ( Jacksepticeye) to steal some with him
Jack Seán doesn't like the people who made the dinos, so he says sure as long as he can commit property damage
The group goes out into the rain and face off against things like Velociraptors, Carnotaurus (I have no clue if I spelled that right), very dangerous stuff
Apparently, Allen makes friends with the Velociraptors and the stegosaurus
Jack Frosty proposes that they try and find the Indo Rex
Jack Seán immediately agrees, 'we don't need more of it and it needs to reproduce eventually' is his point
They all agree to kill it
Before they can, they find the helicopter pad ( this is in the video, and a prime example of why you should watch it)
They decide that they need the high ground and get in the helicopter
The dove kinda hits a window here, not like it hasn't already, but it happens again
They find the Indo and open fire ( Nico, my lovely snipe, get that thing)
They forgot about airborne non terrestrial dinosaurs ( I completely forgot what they're called in the moment, i know what they are, and I know they're not dinos, but it's the simplest version)
A Quetzalcoatl ( my favorite non terrestrial) jumps them
If Jurassic Park can take creative liberties, so can I, so there's, like, 4 Quetzalcoatls and they sometimes hunt in packs
Juicy mans the machine gun and pops one out of the sky immediately
Jack Seán is maneuvering the helicopter to safety
The T-rex that was released gets sniped by my lovely sniper Nico ( it's literally true; Lord0wnage is an amazing sniper in Minecraft, having hit and taken out all of the rest of Scream team multiple times for funsies)
A rescue copter comes to help
The og helicopter gets hit by a Quetzalcoatl
They take the risks of jumping into the rescue helicopter
Jack Seán is still piloting, and can't leave the cockpit or it'll fall and take him with it
He drops this banger line:
" Well...I'm damned if I do and I'm damned if I don't... Go for it, boys. I'll lead those big lumps o' shite off for yeh. Don't worry 'bout me, okay? Just get home safe. I'll see all you dudes in the next video, heheh. "
Jack Frosty, a big fan of Jack Seán, is sobbing and absolutely moved by his act of kindness
The group gets in the helicopter and they fly away, watching Jack Seán lead the Quetzalcoatls away and, eventually, inevitably, fall to his death
There's, like, way more to this ( including a zombie apocalypse because op is a sucker for those), but this post is already long and sad, can't have too much dead dove in one Tumblr post
