i just need to tell you that i have started watching the untamed (because of your posts) and am only a few episodes in but wei wuxian
there are only two kinds of people who watch the untamed - people who are still obsessed with wwx by the end, and people who start out obsessed with wwx and by the end have become completely fixated on one of the side characters
In the tags of a post you mentioned a Pete’s World fanfic series, and I was wondering what the series is? (I need more stuff to read, especially if it’s funny)
Sleepover Series by LizRambler. It starts Ten/Rose and progresses toward TenII/Rose. It’s one of my top faves now. It’s mostly fluff/fun but has some angst and some morally questionable choices involving Pete’s World Donna in the last story but I loved how she addressed it. The author writes Doctor babble so well and her TenII and Donna interactions area just awesome. She works in the two Short Trip stories and has Classic Who references. I hope you enjoy it.

love is in the little things
She felt the weight over her waist before her other senses began to wake up. Someone was breathing softly nearby, gentle puffs of air caressing her cheeks in each exhale.
“Morning,” the Doctor whispered.
Immediately, a lazy smile spread over Rose's face. She hadn't even opened her eyes yet, but it was already a very good morning.
“No morning in the TARDIS,” she mumbled, voice hoarse from sleep.
She felt rather than heard his chuckle, and pressed herself closer to him, rubbing her feet along his calf to warm them. Except, there was something on her feet. Something that hadn't been there last night.
Rose blinked her eyes open to find the Doctor's face just a few inches from hers. He smiled when her eyes focused on his, and she couldn't help but smile back even as she frowned.
“Did you put socks on my feet?”
“They were freezing. Freezing, Rose!” he said loudly, breaking the stillness of their morning quite efficiently. “Honestly, don't know how you didn't lose all of your pretty little toes, they were that cold.”
“So you put socks on them?” Rose couldn't wipe the stupid smile out of her face.
“They're fuzzy socks. I like fuzzy socks, don't go with the chucks, though,” kicking the blanket away from his feet, the Doctor wiggled his toes for her. “Maybe I could start wearing fuzzy socks in the TARDIS. But they're probably not good for running either. Well, I say not good, but there are these socks in Jupiter - the city, not the planet - that are–”
Rose cut him off with a kiss.
“You put socks on my cold feet?” she asked again.
The Doctor looked utterly stunned, eyes wide and glancing from her eyes to her lips, and back again.
“Yeah,” he managed to say, voice low and hoarse.
Rose grinned. “How domestic of you.”
She squealed when he threw himself at her with an offended “Oi!” his fingers already mercilessly tickling her sides.

(From this meme.)
28) What is something you wished you’d known before you started posting fanfiction?
Hmmmm. That’s a good question. I think I wish I’d known how big fandom was going to be, so I knew to hold onto the friendships I made in the smalltime days instead of letting them drift apart. I miss those people (a lot, sometimes) and don’t know how to find them anymore.
Hang onto your friends, kids. You never know when the website or mailing list or email service that you’re connected on will disappear.
(Aw man, I’m sad now. I had such good friends online when I was a babby fandomer in the 90s, and then college hit and I just. Couldn’t anymore. Couldn’t with anything never mind keeping in touch with friends. Biggest regret of my life.)
I know how hard it is to lose a pet and I hope you’re doing okay.
Thank you. Today’s better for me although my other kitty is showing signs of missing her buddy.
Runnin' with the Devil + 4
(From this writing meme.)
4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?
Oh man, Runnin’ with the Devil is, by far, my least favorite. It was as hastily written as the first fic in that series, and I just... could have done better. That said! It definitely contains one of my favorite lines of dialogue:
"Be careful of the pinions," he said abruptly as her hand drifted lower on his wing. "They're sharp."
"Lucifer. I'm not a bird scientist. I have no idea what a pinion is."
Listen, this might not be the best line of dialogue I have ever written. It may not be the most in-character or the most smooth or the most anything that involves good writing. But you know what it is the most? It’s the line that makes me laugh the hardest. I genuinely cackle IRL every time I remember it.
It all came about because I kept seeing people have Chloe know what all these bird things are in wingfic and I kept getting kind of thrown because like. I like to think I am well-read but I only know all these bird things from reading wing!fic and Chloe does not seem like one to be reading fic at all.
And maybe I am wrong! Maybe I just had a gaping hole in my knowledge of birds that everyone else had filled at some point in their lives. But I still wanted to throw a line in about it, and “I’m not a bird scientist” popped into my head and made me laugh for an embarrassing amount of time, so it got to stay.
