“I’m sure it’s going to be fine. Dumbledore is here and so are the aurors, I’m sure the issue will be resolved.” Alaric said in as soothing of a tone as he could manage, even though his eyes kept flickering around, trying to make sure that he could see Pandora. Perhaps that wasn’t the best thing to do when trying to reassure someone, but it’s what he was doing anyway.
“Sybill is smart and if there’s really something going on, it will be taken care of, we have advanced notice. Everyone here will be fine.” Did he sound like he was reading off a script?
