Statement On My Time At Psychiatric Hospital
Hi everyone. Some of you may already know, but for those who haven't, I felt it was important to speak out about where I have been. On June 12th, I was commited to a phychiatric hospital against my will to deal with my mental health issues. I had reached a dangerous point, and knew it was time to reach out for professional help. While I was commited and it was not voluntary, it turned out to be one of the best and most wisest decisions in my life. I have since been released, and will be taking things one day at a time, going to see a pyschiatrist regularly to maintain my care, as well as implenting new tools I have learned with time spent locked up. As I write this, I am still acclaimating, but feel so much better; almost as if a reset button has been hit on my brain. I was tested, observed, and watched 24.7, but I knew it was only for my own well being, and it was something I needed to open up to and take advantage of. It had been time for a while, and I am very happy with the experience and how it humbled me truly and changed me for the better. Stay tuned for a video about what happened. I wanted to publicly thank a few of those who I have met at my wing of the hospital, I feel I have truly made some friends for life. With respect for them, their privacy, and their treatment from here on out, I will obviously not mention them by name, but they all know who they are. I love you all so much.I want to also thank my husband David Fischer, my two soul sisters Justyna Justice Laurie Bishop, and my new friends Megan Skinner and Renee Neumann among others, for an experience that changed my entire life just in the nick of time. When I was at my lowest point, these people stood by me. I am sorry to anyone whom may have worried about me, or where I was, but this experience is something I want to open up about as usual, as I think it can help so many people who still may be ashamed to come public when it involves mental illness today. I am home safe now, taking one moment at a time, and am blessed to be able to have a platform to share aspects of my life if I feel others can relate and feel less alone.
I was in an extremely dark place, but knew enough to finally reach out to professionals, and commit myself to the process. Everyone loves a great redeption story and comback, and those can only be seen once the darkness is shared. I love you, and will talk to you all as soon as I can with the video on my time at the ward.

Being more productive and making things happen. Changed URL of facebook public fan page. Now, easy to remember http://fb.com/jamieleighfischertv. Considering doing a live stream on Sunday in Boston. Realizing I need to force myself into new enviornments to reinspire for content. Any suggestions on best platform to stream other than YouTube? Please let me know.
Felt cute, might delete later.
