Got street fighter 6 cuz it's on sale and Alex is getting put in soon and we gotta say, the lack of JamieLuke over LukeJamie makes us kinda sad (in a lighthearted kinda way, we promise we're not actually upset).
From what we've seen so far, we personally think Luke would like. have a secret crush on Jamie that he feels awkward about. Not because we think there's some internalized homophobia going on, but because Jamie seems a bit less enthused about Luke as a person than vice-versa despite the fact the season 2 trailer implies they hang out at least semi-regularly. Especially when you look at the difference in the art for Jamie's story vs Luke's.
On Jamie's side, Luke's character art looks like some sort of delinquent bully from a manga with the way he's posed and the expression he has. And that's not to mention the faded dialogue you can hear over Jamie's narration.
But when you go through Luke's story, Jamie looks like he always does. And the tone of Luke's voice during his narration is a bit lighter as well. Much more amused than anything despite the fact he and Jamie are arguing in the background.
Personally, we think Luke may have even instigated them actually just hanging out due to his crush, and Jamie just kind of went along with it despite some possible apprehension. And now they're in a weird spot in Luke's mind where Jamie doesn't not hang out with him, but he also doesn't seem to be much less antagonistic, if at all.
idk man. we guess we just think the fandom's missing out on some good angsty!Luke potential is all. lol
