I've got a Star-Lord cosplay I'm working on. It's a bit of a project, but I'm looking forward to spending time on the weekends to craft something. It's a long list of what I need to do by the 31st:

Dissemble, sand, spray paint, detail, seal, and reassemble the nerf gun replica I've bought.

Sew gaiters to wear with my work boots, and distress them a bit.

Either stick w/ my red pants, I have around 3 pairs hahahaha because I LOVE red pants, or modify my darker black ones to match the patchwork ones.

Make the mask - thinking of modifying an Iron Man costume mask for the base, or crafting the whole thing out of foam.

Find a red jacket and distress that. Basically gonna be hitting Goodwill/The Garment District (A big resale place in Boston) soon.

If I have time, grab some PVC pipes and the remaining spray paint create the rocket boosters to velcro to the gaiters.  

BUT. OH MY GOD YOU SHOULD MAKE A CASSANDRA COSPLAY. But that other option sounds A+ too. 

I'll be liveblogging my process though, so this will be fun.

So here's a several second snip of a song I've been working on. To be very honest, I'm terribly stuck on it, and I can't get past just the chorus. Edit 01 features a lighter approach to the song versus Edit 02 in which I try to use my lower, more mature voice. Oh, and I'm tagging those who replied saying they were interested in these audio demo thingies. [ Disclaimer: This is no way near performance material. It's just a rough. ]

I used to have dried seaweed to put into the Miso, but I ran out. Probably gonna order some more off amazon once I get my paycheck. Sticking green onion + seaweed into miso soup is one of my fav quick meals. 

Yeah using the flavoring packet on the noodles ruined them. :C Though, thanks for the tips!!
