I would also add Jane campion, Ava Duvernay and Mira Nair.
I don’t know any of these women, but I’m going to look them up.

jancola replied to your post: So, Mae is the only trans woman in canon Dragon...
Also be wary of relating her gender to her owning slaves. Don’t make her trans identity some awful metaphor.
I absolutely wouldn’t do that. Mae is just going to be a character in the thing, and her gender isn’t going to come up. I was just worried about painting her as morally ambiguous when she’s the only trans woman from canon to appear in Ascension.

Yes, definitely list editor in chief (sorry idk what beta club is). Be specific too, like what publishing program did you use, how many people did you organize. Also be specific with the computer skills you have: how many words per minute can you type, do you know basic html markup, etc. Word and Excel are simple programs, you can learn them in an afternoon. If you know another word processor like Google Drive or OpenOffice you can list that also.
tysm youre a lifesaver
I think you know why I followed you (Anora, natch)
it seems to be a common theme around here, haha. i’m delighted to be an anora provider (◡‿◡✿)

Killing Ben was awful, really stupid and disappointing, and it really limits their future stories too (can you do Out without Ben? I guess but it wouldn't be as good)
I don’t know comics canon at all for these characters, but I can believe that he was a major part of some stories that they’ve now prevented themselves from telling. Especially now that the MCU has the rights to Spider-Man, who I understand from Wikipedia is often associated with Urich. So short-sighted.

I have a friend that does a bunch of lolita stuff and she's got similar dimensions! I can see if I can find out where she gets her stuff :D
It can’t hurt! I see other people my size wearing adorable stuff, but I just don’t know if I’m not looking in the right places, or if some of it is custom made. One of my friends already pointed me at a couple of places like the Plus Size Sales FB community and a few sites that stock my size sometimes, but the pickings are slim so far. I know there’s a LOT of stuff out there, so if it helps narrow things down a bit, I find I’m gravitating more toward simple Sweet stuff in single colors or basic patterns like stripes, and Gothic pieces. I’m also trying to figure out what style it fits into, but I also like the stuff that has Victorian-style details (single-color prints of birdcages, damask prints, prints of cameos). As super-cute as the really Sweet stuff is, I don’t really think it’s my personal style. I love seeing it on other people, but I’m not sure it really fits me personally. BUT, I certainly don’t mind browsing around and finding my own pieces if she’d rather just point me in a general direction.

ooh, Aicosu ordered a jacket from that qutieland website a while ago, it was so beautiful! she posted a review of it too if you want to search for it
I did some poking around and found the review! The coat is an Infanta piece, it looks like, and it’s GORGEOUS. Sadly, Infanta doesn’t do custom sizing and their standard sizes don’t go big enough for me. Qutieland is a middle-man/shopping service that allows overseas residents to more easily buy stuff from several brands, and Infanta is one of them. Their stuff is really beautiful and I really love a lot of it, but sadly it won’t fit. There are a couple of other brands on the site though that do custom sizes, so I’m definitely looking at those.
Vivienne from Dragon Age Inquisition. Thanks for Your suggestion, jancola! Never painted this character before, but I must admit it was tons of fun :]
And the palette challenge again took me where I would probably never went myself XD Just as I hoped :>
Cheers <3
