When she was in her prime, Dr. Morbius was a famous biochemist that took on any challenge that was presented to her. However, tragically, she was diagnosed with a rare blood disease that threatened her life. Attempting to make a cure, she put herself through shock therapy and her own experimental chemicals. The experiments mutated her DNA into a “Vampire”. After the disgust and fear passed, she wanted more power. The mutation only gave her limited powers of a Vampire, so by using the same techniques, she turned herself into a demon as well.
She came to Brooklyn because she learned of a research station that was located there. With most of America stuck in dust storms, any research station has value. However, when she got there, she learned that it wasn’t going to be easy to steal from the station.
