Just finished Series 7 Episode 27 in my Waterloo Road first time watch 🥺👏
This ep has solidified how much I love Tom and Josh as characters and their bond! 👏 Maybe I just love the entire Tom Clarkson extended family? 😂
Tom and Josh have been two of my favourite characters so far in the show's run, so to watch an episode centered around Josh's schizophrenia was heartbreaking to watch. Tom's relationships with the various kids that he has fostered (don't make me talk about the Kellys again! 😍) have been so well crafted, and for him to watch his own son going through something so traumatic, and lashing out at him? The angst? I can't even. The scene when Tom is leading him into the ambulance broke me.💔
(Honourable mention to the Janeece storyline - we don't deserve her. She's wonderful. The scene when she learned about what Craig did was so awful to watch 💔 Her friendship with Chalky is so lovely, and the bittersweetness of the reception hit hard 🥺)
