To live up to my self-assigned title of Rarepair Apologist on this fine day of 4/13, here's your reminder that Michael <3< Jane is good.

I know I've already mentioned it recently, but Janemichael truly is the rarest of them all.
This is the only fic for the ship I've been able to find and it's the exact dynamic I was looking for. Even platonic interactions between them are hard to find, although this one is very good even if it's not Janemichael. I can recommend those fics wholeheartedly.
Frankly, what I did was take a look at the "I'm not one of those fools chasing fractals" Jane quote and go "hey, what if Jane and Michael had an antagonistic relationship where they feed on each other, seek each other out despite their mutual incompatibility, and also occasionally have inhuman sex?".
