Sidney had been in the middle of a very serious game with his friends for about 2 hours while, Daphne, the ever studious, studied in the bed behind him. Sid and his friends of course had always been a little bit animated and boisterous running around on the game together. Most of the time Daphne liked to watch, but she wanted to get ahead on the Physics test coming up on Tuesday.
But she could use a break. Deciding to also take the time then to visit the store really quick to pick up a new pack of cigarettes for him and the Yoo-hoo he mentioned he wanted an hour ago, he gives her a few more items of : hot fries, Swedish Fish for the tradition of winning on a game for him, and two magazines he was featured in an editorial for (Vanity Fair and Bazaar) with her kiss to his studious chiseled cheek.
Tears for Fears ‘Head Over Heels’ played softly in the background while she stood there reading the box she was holding adjacent to CVS basket on her arm, half-filled with those items she was picking up for her boyfriend. Little bit contrary to most girls her age in this area of the city who usually held a little diamond studded dog there.
Maybe the full word reading on the test was better? Or maybe the positive sign was? Daphne’s brow-line focused with a slight slope as she read further on the larger box. It was one of the bigger ones. Were the more expensive ones better necessarily than the less expensive? Her pretty mouth mulls to a soft in thought pucker as her eyes narrowed before she began to chew on the corner inside of her taut and pulled pretty lips where she read. She lifts her head and decides to put this one back and carefully sits it back up where she’d taken it from originally next to all the others.
She’s still chewing the inside of her mouth while her pretty green doll-like eyes move next to the other options available. There were too many options available. Her hand reaches next for a two in one - store brand box that seemed to be a better value. Was it necessary to get two on these usually? Were they unreliable or sometimes inaccurate? Daphnes bottom lip slowly moves between her teeth in the thought as she decides taking a moment to pause and look at the others available to her there before she continues to read the seemingly very easy information on this box of how this particular pregnancy test worked.
