Tonight in 1992: The Resurrected! Hey! Now this was a fun, spooky, Halloween adventure for the whole family (13 and over)! This movie has everything you could want in a campy, goofy Lovecraft adaptation from the 90s: -Great practical effects -Wizards -Science -Mysterious obviously evil people in disguise -Underground laboratories -Secret tunnels under an old family home in New England -A guy really seriously asking the question “What is the street value of Wizard’s Bones?” -The lesbian ex-wife from Friends who deserved better -Skeletons -Skeletons chasing people -Skeletons eating people -Skeletons saving peoples’ lives -Skeletons exploding -Grow-a-Man! -THE HUNGER -Meat! -Prince Humperkinck -Protagonists looking overwhelmed -Shenanigans I don’t have a lot more to say on the movie, I had some fun, I laughed, I rolled my eyes, and I was thoroughly (and appropriately) yucked out from time to time. This movie really believes that bones should be described as slimy. The lead actor was passable, he really just needed to look slightly confused and urgent at all times so it was hard to fail in that role. Prince Humperdinck was up to his usual tomfoolery, and he was thwarted in a successful and gore-filled way. 7/10 Will watch again Would recommend. #TheResurrected #JohnTerry #JaneSibbett #ChrisSarandon #Film #FilmWatch #Filmwatch1992 #Movies #MovieReview https://www.instagram.com/p/B4MFdu5Hbwh/?igshid=1jfquxllog96q
