I chose this meme because it was fitting to my feelings right now. This meme is from a 'Family Guy' episode where there is a running joke that Meg Griffin(girl in pink) is not important to her family, which is who is in the tuxedos. The entire time she is left out and portrayed as not important. This is even represented in this meme when they are all wearing tuxedos and are on one side of the room, while she is in her regular clothes on the other side. She finally says " You guys always act like you're better than me". In this specific scene, the family is dismissing her and not paying her any attention at all. It's being showcased how she is not paid attention to the joke. This meme fits my feelings because I have enjoyed Northanger Abbey, Sense and Sensibility, and Pride and Prejudice more than Mansfield Park. Mansfield Park I feel is just very long, and hard to get through. I found more enjoyment in the other books because I felt that there was more excitement to them, maybe because they were shorter so more actions were taking place in a shorter amount of time. I just feel that this meme is the status that these books take in my head. I have also seen other memes where Mansfield is joked to be the worst book. I think that while it has good parts, and it is not a bad book, readers just don't have as many infatuations with this book as with Jane Austen's other books.

I created this meme from inspiration from Addy's presentation. I thought that this meme was a good mixture of what we discussed in class and the movie Lost in Austen. In the movie, Amanda Price is unsatisfied with her life and somehow ends up in the world of Pride and Prejudice. In this she starts to play the role as a new character, and love interest. She creates this fantasy in her head from reading the book and diving into it. The book takes her to another world in her head and allows her to expand her imagination. In class we discussed how a good book can allow you to escape your real life and almost feel like you are living a different life. In the movie Amanda was unsatisfied with her love life which is why the book allowed her to escape. It allows you to live many different lives and be very different people. I think that people can feel that books are reality and create a false reality in their head, where they except the real world to mirror what is happening in the book. This is why sometimes people who are hopeless romantics find more enjoyment in reading a book then actually going out with people because their expectations are always disappointed. In Austen's books she creates a great ideal of men who will do anything for you , example Mr. Darcy. The meme I created allows insight on the idea that the men in books can be seen as real and can create standards for people to have when comparing to the outside world. This is also why people find enjoyment when reading the books and inserting themselves because this is the only time that there standards can be met with the characters they have created.

Yes! I got chance to go home with him, together! at that time, in my mind exactly picturing this scene, when Jane so overwhelm happy seeing Lefroy came to the Ball and dance, Jane and Lefroy eyes met and both smile with thought "i found you"..😍 Like Jane at that time, i felt so utterly happy and thought if this happen only one time, this time only, totally grateful for every second of it 😊 . . "doko ni?" his voice struck my imagination, he talked to himself; "you have been to this station right?", asked me (it is rather stupid question when i'm thinking now); he smiled and continued walking, "we will take subway until Kita-senju and TX express from that", he said; i nodded and smiled . . whole evening afterward i kept thinking about every single scenes happened in the afternoon, totally smitten in my part, me as usual 😂, and i rather keep everything unchanged until now.
