WAARRRR 🔥⚔️🧨🪤
Mb I gave up on him, maybe I'll finish him sometime in the future
Finally able to draw my own chibilso. He's a Sapa munchkin. Beware, he bites ankles
Hiiii!!
It’s been a while since I thought about it.. but can I ask you a headcanon with the Chung myun, Tang Bo, Jang ilso, on college AU! With the reader who is their girlfriend but goes to a rival college? And if can also specify what degree course they do? I’m really curious!
Thanks
Ay yes, my oldest ask. I'm sorry for waiting this long to reply, I was procrastinating.
If you’re in the 9 great sects and five great families, you are playing political warfare with each other
If you’re in the Heavenly Friend Alliance, you are basically besties with Chungmyung but also infected with his ‘Chungmyungficication’ while also live in fear of what’s he’s going to do
However if you’re in the evil sect, you’re playing psychological warfare with each other while also under the thump of one of the most tyrannical manipulator
I need desesperately a fic where Jang Ilso and Tang Bo exists simultaneously, i want someone else's take on them interacting and the difference that would make in Cheongmyeong and Jang Ilso's interactions because i'm going insane thinking about it
I feel like... Jang Ilso, first, would have a fascination for Tang Bo as he's has with Cheongmyeong, but more due his insatiable greed than for actually wanting to interact with him. I mean- in the same way at first was said that Cheongmyeong would cry for Ho Gamyeong's cooperation due to his efficency and uselfulness, Tang Bo would be seen as a sharp flexible mind that can keep up with Cheongmyeong's insanity and hyper senses, so Jang Ilso would be easier to follow and even complement and he would notice that
However, i think that much of Cheongmyeong's patience and interest in Jang Ilso after the ending of the truce are due some sense of kinship that he projects on Jang Ilso because he's alone and sees himself in him, i already talked about it in another post, summarized: Cheongmyeong makes himself softer, kinder and weaker to evade the loneliness and admit more people into his narrative, this life he gets to understand the importance of having others, but none of them are an equal, so- Jang Ilso being the closest to the monster he was makes him want to keep (maybe even educate) Jang Ilso in a way (spoiler: it does not work)
But... With Tang Bo in the mix?? Cheongmyeong would have a different character development! He would not feel as desesperate about everything with someone close to his level covering his back and also being a emotional support, that's something he struggles with after that horrifying Hainan Arc. There would be someone validating his experience and the memories he has of the past, also as it seems in the flashbacks, Tang Bo never was a counterweight in Cheongmyeong's course of action xD he was the reinforcement KJASHBDVGHAS So i think he would have some way to parallel Cheongmyeong in the Tang Clan (i don't think so in strategy, but certainly in growth at least) and since he had his own plans, he would also pull and be pulled into Cheongmyeong's goals
I think they would be heavily codependent, but that's ok because i ship them(?) it wouldn't be noticeable anyway because their priorities are (physically) far apart and they trust each other enough to of turn their backs and know that they will meet again somewhere along the way or ask for help if needed
So Cheongmyeong seeing Jang Ilso at first may be the same, maybe more bold, but in the long run he would be more exasperated than in canon and would be more brutal to him. I think Jang Ilso would be delighted as usual, but the sense of danger would be also more uncomfortable for him, because there would be this wall Cheongmyeong had in the past separating him from other people because he has enough closeness with his martial family, friends and allies, he's satiated with it, Jang Ilso this time doesn't have a place
So he's wild, kind of fun, Cheongmyeong likes that he isn't all bark no bite and uses him until things start to get out of hand, probably around the moment the Namgung Family enters the narrative. Depending of the moment in which Tang Bo arrives the plot, maybe they even make a trio fighting against that young bishop and Cheongmyeong can take some delight in the dynamic, but doesn't get as attached as in canon
But even more, and this is a headcanon of mine: i think Tang Bo would fucking hate Jang Ilso LJDFGVKHASJ
Not because of him being evil, i do think between Tang Bo and Cheongmyeong, is the latter who has the more gray morality but Tang Bo doesn't think either in a conventional way and would also appreciate the usefulness of the big schemes, but because Tang Bo being a Tang (not a taoist), he's more resentful and possessive. I like to think he would want to have Hwasan itself bringing down Gupailbang, feels Jang Ilso's intention of using Cheongmyeong and "tame him" and he would not like that at all because Jang Ilso is hard to predict and even if Cheongmyeong can defend himself, he knows better how hard is to want to protect everyone behind his back (as he wanted to help his family that burned in the past, how Cheongmyeong alone isn't enough and probably Cheongmyeong himself told him how much time needs, thing Jang Ilso is cutting short)
So it would be so fun xD like...
Jang Ilso: Let me be your third
Cheongmyeong: What...?
Tang Bo: I'm still dead and this is actual hell -gags-
Jang Ilso, watching them being terrifying in the battlefield: Wouldn't you be happier being with me sapa?
Cheongmyeong, bathed in blood: You disgusts me and i will kill you
Tang Bo: That one needs to be obliterated -changes target-
