TIPSY TUESDAY...SWEET ESCAP3!
At the top of this year, I obtained my Mixologist License from NY State. In doing so I found an elevation in my passion for flavor development synonymous to my love of food. I couldn't be more elated with the in depth training I received from my instructors and mentors. Further educating myself in flavors profiles has led me to create some amazing cocktails which pair perfectly with meals I prepare. Every Tuesday I will be releasing a NEW recipe that is very personal to me, inspired by and dedicated to the many people I come in contact with.
This weeks cocktail is dedicated to those with overly demanding schedules, in need of a getaway.
What you'll need...
3 ounces Ocean Spray Cran-Mango (Cranberry Mango) Juice Drink 3 ounces Ocean Spray White Cran-Peach (White Cranberry Peach Mango) Juice Drink 1 ounce DOLE Pineapple Juice 2 ounces GOYA Passionfruit Nectar Splash of Grenadine 16 ounces of Bacardi Maestro de Ron Light Rum 8 Thinly Sliced Ginger Root pieces 2 Cups of Ripe Mango (Chopped) 2 Cups of Sliced Organic Strawberries 6 Sprigs of Rosemary Glassware: Highball | Garnish: Mango Wedge and Rosemary Sprig | Preparation: Combine ALL ingredients in a Large Cocktail Shaker, 1 Cup of Ice, raise above your shoulder and shake 8-10 times then strain into | Servings: 4
Blend it! Glassware: Cocktail | Garnish: Rosemary Sprig and Pineapple Wedge | Preparation: Add ALL ingredients (minus Rosemary sprigs) into Blender with 2 Cups of Crushed or Cubed Ice. Blend for a refreshing smoothie! | Servings: 4
Share It! - Call your friends over for a night of fun, laughter and an amazing cocktail!! Glassware: Glass Pitcher and Wine Glasses | Garnish: Strawberry and Mango Wedge | Preparation: Add ALL the above ingredients into Large Pitcher. Then add 1 Bottle (1.5 Liter) of White Wine (I recommend using Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc). Stir. Chill for about 2 hours to allow the flavors to marry. Serve and enjoy!
