"Hey, Y/N!" You turned to see Cady waving at you with a smile, Janis was pretty close to her. The both of them shared a quiet glance with each other. Looking as though they had some sort of silent conversation that you couldn't figure out. You gave them a little wave back, you considered yourself friends with them but didn't know them overly well. That didn't seem to matter to Cady though. She was pretty friendly with everyone, or at least that's how you saw it. What you didn't know was that her friendliness was mostly just for you. Sure she was nice, but she was extra nice to you. Same with Janis.

Which was why your girlfriends were surprised when you'd later describe Janis as 'nice' and 'polite' to them. Regina eyed you with a 'what the actual fuck' look," we're talking about the same Janis, right? Like pyro Janis?" She stared at you with the most dumbfounded expression you'd ever seen on her.

"Um... I guess so? Janis Imi'ike?" Gretchen looked at Regina when you answered, then back to you with a frown.

"Mama.. she's not nice to anyone. Could you have like- maybe confused her for someone else?" Gretchen asked carefully, Regina nodded. Finding a rare moment where she agreed with Gretchen. She pointed to her.

"Yeah no that. Cause what?" Regina replied.

"I don't think so- short, brunette with dyed hair? Wears self love shirts and puts art on her clothing?" You described Janis. Definitely pyro Janis. They exchanged glances again. Why was Janis being nice to you? It didn't sit right with them.

"Oh I love those shirts! I wanna know where she gets them," Karen smiled, completely unaware of the tension. You looked at her and gave her a small smile before looking back to your other girlfriends. Regina was fuming. She had a pretty good guess why Cady and Janis were being so nice to you. And she didn't like it one bit.

"If they talk to you, just ignore them." She said, which completely confused you. You looked between her and Gretchen.

"Huh? Why?" You asked, Regina just rolled her eyes.

"Are you that blind?" She didn't mean to be snappy, she was just upset with Cady and Janis. And she was subconsciously putting those emotions out onto you. "They're trying to take you away from us."

"Oh.." You mumbled, knowing it was better than to argue with Regina. So you just agreed not to talk with Cady and Janis anymore. Regina then implemented a rule that one of the plastics had to be by your side at all times during school hours; classes didn't necessarily count in this cause there were a couple classes they weren't in with you. Which meant the rule mainly applied for transition times, lunch etc. You were fine with that, it gave you more time with your girls.

The following Monday, Gretchen was with you when the two of you walked to the French class you had together. Cady and Janis were both in that class and, when they saw you, they picked up their pace and started walking beside you to class.

"Sup, Y/N?" Janis smiled, ignoring the dumbfounded Gretchen. Wow, Janis was a lot nicer with you," want to hang out with Cady and I after school?"

"Uh.." You looked to Gretchen, who immediately shook her head and pulled you closer to her.

"She has plans with us." Gretchen replied, which was true. You pretty much did stuff with your girlfriends every day.

"Damn, bummer. Catch ya later then," Janis said as her and Cady entered the class, you and Gretchen followed them in.

You couldn't help feeling bad for letting Gretchen turn them down, wondering how your night could have gone if you said yes.

In their dorm, Paige suddenly turned to Janis and asked, “Should we talk about the elephant in the room?”

Janis gave her a look and replied, “What do you want me to say Paige? You’re my ex and for a good reason.”

Paige retorted, “I know I’m not happy either. If you ask me I’d be happy to swap rooms with whoever’s rooming with that pretty friend of yours.”

Janis furrowed her brow in confusion and asked, “Which pretty friend?”

Paige laughed and replied, “Y/N.”

Janis rolled her eyes and turned her attention back to her phone which buzzed. It was a text from Y/N.

Janis stood up grabbed her bag and walked out of the dorm without another word.

The entire way to Y/N’s dorm, she kept her eyes glued to her phone, noticing Milo’s Instagram post.

A laugh escaped her lips as she continued walking.

Finally arriving at the dorm, she knocked twice before the door swung open. A tipsy Y/N threw her arms around the taller girl. Not long after, Milo and Aaron stumbled out. “Oh hey Janis,” the taller boy said, locking the door and hooking the key onto Y/N’s belt loop with a carabiner.

After about five minutes, they met up with the rest of the group. Aaron and Tess led the way, followed by Damien and Cady. Milo and Delilah then joined them, followed by Janis and Y/N.

The frat party greeted them with the smell of cheap beer and even cheaper cologne.

Y/N and Milo found the good stuff in seconds, cracking it open and gulping it down.

It wasn’t long before the entire friend group followed Y/N and Milo’s lead. Even at 10pm, most of them were nearly blackout drunk.

As if on cue, Paige strutted into the house exuding confidence. She walked straight to y/n grabbed her bicep and leaned in whispering something in her ear. Clearly intoxicated, she shook her head trying to back away signalling her disinterest. Paige persisted however pulling her closer by grabbing her waist.

Milo and Janis instantly realised what was happening and rushed over causing Janis to bump into someone and spill beer all over her. They paused to apologise but lost sight of y/n in the process.

Meanwhile Paige had dragged y/n to a quieter room at the back of the house while they were unsupervised.

Paige pulled out a small baggie of cocaine and offered it to her but she shook her head refusing. She kept pushing eventually holding a key of the powder up to y/ns nose.

Finally the door burst open revealing y/ns entire friend group. Aaron stormed in grabbing Paige by the collar of her hoodie and slamming her against the wall. Tessa and Milo grabbed y/n and ran for it while the rest of the group grabbed Aaron before he could commit a crime.

They all ended up outside on campus, wandering around and trying to find a reason to stay out. Everyone stayed in pairs but y/n slipped back a bit lowering her head and keeping quiet.

—y/n flashback first person—

The last time you used drugs besides weed was one of the worst days of your life. Finals week was overwhelming and you slipped back into a really bad depression, causing a relapse and reconnecting with your dealer.

Later that night, Aaron found you on the floor of your bedroom. You’d overdosed on Xanax.

You were rushed to the hospital and treated but didn’t wake up for two days.

When you finally did, you were ashamed and embarrassed.

A few days later, you were discharged but returned to school the following week. You felt unwell and weren’t eating, reaching your lowest point yet.

Everything that happened that week blurred together until gym class. A jock had made a snarky comment about you, and combined with two hours of sleep and pure rage, you turned around and ripped him a new one. Seconds later, they were on the ground. The jock on top was punching you repeatedly until he was pulled off.

You ran off, clutching your nose to stop the blood from spreading.

Little did you know Janis wasn’t far behind, having witnessed the scene unfold.

“Y/n, come back!” Janis shouted, trying to catch up with you.

“Leave me alone!” you shouted back, your hand covering your mouth as you continued running.

“No, come here,” Janis caught up and grabbed your arm, pulling you closer.

“Let go!”

“You need to go to the nurse.”

“I don’t need to see a fucking nurse!” you cried out, making Janis pull you closer and into her arms.

Later that week you were returned to the hospital and promptly taken to the psychiatrist’s office. He appeared uninterested and bored. By the end of the week you were sent home with permission to smoke weed to “calm you down” as they felt medication wasn’t necessary.

—Present time y/ns pov—

I shook the thought from my head, keeping my head down. At least I hadn’t accepted Paige’s advances. Looking over, I saw the rest of the group engaged in their own conversations, laughing and smiling. Little did I know Janis was also staring at me.

Janis lightly taps my shoulder and I look up to see her smiling.

“Want to get out of here?” she asks, holding out her hand.

I accept almost immediately.

Janis informs the group she’s walking me home to ensure my safety and we set off into the chilly October breeze.

“So,” she begins, “I know we haven’t really spoken since high school. We’re in the same classes and friend group, but we haven’t spoken like we used to.”

I glance at her and a sad smile tugs at my lips. “Yeah, that’s true. What would you like to talk about?”

“I’m not sure. Perhaps we should begin with the fact that my e..uh roommate is trying to get into your pants.”she points out

“She’s not my type and you know that,” I smirk at Janis, fuelled by alcohol and a bit of weed.

“Really well, we haven’t spoken in ages. I wouldn’t know your type,” she argues playfully, nudging me. It quickly escalates into a back-and-forth of pushing, until Janis goes a bit too far and pushes too hard. Mid fall, I grab her hand and pull her down with me.

We both land on the floor. Janis is on top of me, and we’re inches apart. I look down at her lips. the lips that have kissed every inch of my body. The lips I’ve stared at for ages while she explained her nerdy interests. The lips that yearned for since the day I left her.

I just needed to lean in a bit and it would happen.

I really shouldn’t but it would be so stupid of me to.

I don’t care though.

I wrap my hands around her neck and pull her into me closing the space between us. We stay there for minutes just making out until we have to pull away because we’re out of breath.

“I still love you”

Hey gang I’m back for a bit of chaos if you haven’t already go read ‘anyone but her’ as this is a continuation of one of my favourite fics I’ve ever wrote. I’d also like to say thankyou for the recognition my silly little story got from so many people, even to this day I keep getting notifications from people liking the posts, I love you all and even if this isn’t seen or pushed back onto all of your feeds (I fear this will most likely flop so hard) here it is anyway, have fun.

time skip a few years into the future everyone is in college now and nothing has really changed. Damien and Cady are still causing chaos. Tess and Aaron are now in a two year relationship. Regina and the plastics are still being plastic. But most importantly Janis and Y/N are still Janis and Y/N. New friends are formed and new futures are to be made.

The rest of junior year seemed to fly by, y/n and Janis kept getting to know each other more whilst y/n kept helping Janis study and lead her to get higher grades. Aaron and Tessa FINALLY confessed their feelings for each other and went to spring fling together, winning queen and king. Damien got his drivers license and decided to travel to the beach every day with Tessa to learn rugby. Cady got perfect grades and later got into an advanced class that would look good on her college applications.

During summer break they all quickly realised senior year approached, some got jobs whilst some decided to spend their break having fun.

Eventually senior year rolled around everything got incredibly stressful. Y/n fell back into drugs. Cady had a mental breakdown (multiple times), Damien even got into a relationship with a jock…

But alas they all pulled through

And they all promised to get into the same college. Which by some miracle they all did.

It was late one night. Janis had been over at Regina's watching a movie, though there wasn't much watching happening. Instead, the room was filled with soft moans as Janis laid under Regina. Having teased her throughout the entire movie.. Regina finally had enough. So when she felt Janis kissing at her neck, she flipped their positions. Knee digging in between the brunette's legs.

"Were you looking for attention?" Regina smirked, hands placed at either side of Janis' head. Letting her hover over her. Janis mirrored Regina's smirk and nodded. Knowing exactly what she had done to the blonde. After all, if anyone could push Regina's buttons... it was Janis. She knew how to get her to do what she wanted.

Regina's hand came up and gripped at Janis' throat as Janis moaned softly. The blonde's lips came down on her own, capturing them in a fierce kiss that would definitely leave her lips swollen after. As the kiss parted, Regina bit down on Janis' bottom lip. "Stay fucking still." She muttered, other hand gripping at Janis' hip. Janis moved more under her touch, just to be annoying. She grinned up at Regina.

She rolled her eyes and gripped a little harder on her throat," I said stop." She huffed and when Janis didn't listen... she flipped her over onto her front before slapping her ass and straddling her hips. Pinning her to the bed by her wrists. "Stop moving." It practically left Regina as a growl, sending shivers down Janis' spine.

"Fuck.." Janis grunted, finally letting Regina take control. She felt herself melt into the covers as Regina's lips brushed her neck. Moving hair aside to kiss over the red lines her hands created.

"Shut up." Regina mumbled against her skin, now laying herself fully across her as her teeth bit into her neck. Sucking until a hickie was left in place of the lines.

"And if I don't?" Janis glanced behind her at the blonde, who looked annoyed at this point. Which only further turned Janis on. She loved pissing Regina off, it was a major turn on for her when the blonde demanded control.

As for Regina, she rolled her eyes at Janis' words. Secretly liking how Janis played the role of brat. Letting her be the brat tamer, getting to be rough with her. That was her turn on. Though she would never admit it. Unlike Janis, who would probably happily admit to being a brat if Regina asked her to.

It didn't take the two long before clothes were off and Regina's fingers were buried in Janis. Janis' hands gripped the sheets under them so tight her knuckles turned white. Her mouth hung open as strings of moans left her breathless. Feeling as Regina pumped her fingers in and out if her. Not giving her even a moment to catch up to all the sensations that flooded her.

"Maybe you shouldn't have been such a brat," Regina muttered, looking down at Janis. Her other hand coming down and slapping her cheek; the sound of skin hitting skin filling the room. Making Janis flinch and close her mouth for only a moment.

"F-fuck-" She grunted, jaw clenched and tears brimming her eyes. Regina gripped her jaw, letting her nails dig into her skin. She knew Janis would say their safe word if it really bothered her, the fact that she hasn't yet meant Regina could keep doing what she was doing. If she knew Janis didn't like it any point she would stop; obviously not wanting to give her anything she couldn't handle.

"What was that?" Regina smirked, one finger slipping into Janis' mouth. Forcing her to suck on it and keep quiet," what did I say about talking?"

Janis' moans were muffled by Regina's finger. Sucking on her digit as she felt her stomach tighten in knots. As Regina's thumb started rubbing her clit, she couldn't take it. She bit down on Regina's finger as she came. Completely coming undone by Regina's touch.

The blonde couldn't help but smirk, helping Janis through her high before pulling out of her. Leaning down to whisper in her ear, lips brushing her ear lobe. "Good girl." She murmured, all Janis could do was nod as Regina got up to go get a cloth and clean them up. Fuck, Janis could pass out then and there. She was exhausted but so damn satisfied.
