It’s been raining & dreary for awhile here so I figure this is the best lighting I’m going to get 😅 Happy January everybody! Ironically I expounded on the snowflake theme my bullet journal had going despite it not being cold enough to snow where I live 🌨️👀⛈️ So far I’m still liking this new planner set up & hopefully it’ll guide me to great things in 2023 🤗🐰❄️☃️✨

Hello January! I went with a New Year’s Eve theme, champagne & confetti included 🍾🥂🎉 With this year’s layout being a little different, I ended up breaking my habit tracker into two mini ones (it’s going to have to grow on me 🤷🏾‍♀️) There’s also an extra square that I eventually decided to just write a quote in. One thing that hasn’t changed is my ever present dust bunnies 🐰✨ Cheers to a great January, even though things are off to a slow start for me 😅

Here’s my January layout which was somewhat experimental since I’m using The Happy Planner for the first time 🤗 The great thing about this planner is that there’s just the right amount of space to put what I usually created in my last bullet journal. As soon as I saw the dot grid, I knew it’d be perfect for my habit tracker (to which I added a little dust bunny 😆🐰✨). Then I realized I can now put birthdays & special days in separate little sections underneath (cue another dust bunny lol). Each month has its own cover page with a quote which I chose to leave as is because it’s really pretty- the photo doesn’t do it justice.

For my old bullet journal the layout was horizontal but this vertical design, as of now, hasn’t been too much of a change to get used to. I did choose to use square stickers to block out days from the past month that run off into this month’s layout (decorated with stars curtesy of my white Gelly Roll pen 😁). Also, having a Cricut came in handy when making the “FOOD” section title (thanks Quan!). Oh! Plus I had to bring back a snowball bunny from last year since I had added a little snowflake detail to the habit tracker ☺️☃️❄️

Well... happy January! 😅
