I really wanna get a small group (4-6 people) and rent out a cabin in Blue Ridge, Ga or Gatlinburg, TN. Like I can picture us all around the fire pit, taking hikes in the mountain, and fishing in the creek, just enjoying each others company. But I also kinda wanna go on a cruise. Don't care where, but America is exhausting and I rather have my rum in international waters.

January Resolution

Well...my resolution for January was to join a gym and go 15 times before the end of the month.

I joined a gym on the 12th.  So that's good.  But I only went 4 times.  So...semi-fail for January.  But at least I joined a gym!  Maybe I should have started smaller.  I think going about 3 times a week is pretty good for a gym newbie.  I think I'll try for that until I get used to exercising again.

2014 Resolutions

I know I'm a bit late starting new year resolutions.  Last year's resolutions didn't go very well so I wasn't feeling very motivated to set any new goals.  But, I've finally decided to try something new this year.  Instead of being overwhelmed by several goals that fizzle out in a couple months, I'm doing monthly resolutions.  Every month I will chose one resolution to follow.  It could be a goal or trying something new or giving something up that I don't need or finally getting around to doing something I've been meaning to do.  I've got a few ideas up my sleeve but since I don't know what my life will be like later in the year, I will wait to assign the resolution at the beginning of each month.

And now for the first month's resolution...

January--Join a gym and go 15 times before the end of the month. 

Running in 2013 wasn't very fun because it was so repetitive.  Joining a gym where I can take yoga, go to spin class, run on the treadmill or swim laps will help me escape workout boredom.  I'm badly out of shape and have been slowly gaining weight all year.  It's time to form a regular gym-going habit.
