I have a question for people who read the books: if I understand correctly in the books Belly never kisses Jeremiah before Conrad (please correct me if I'm wrong, I read it somewhere but I have never touched the books) so she never chooses Conrad over Jere like she did at the end of S1, am I right?
Then in book 2 the whole theme about second chances couldn't possibly be there, could it? Like, Belly's whole speech about "if you get a second chance you'll do everything you can to not fuck it up" or her speech to him before they kissed/when he chose him about not changing her mind again/not repeating the previous summer. Or is there?
Because depending on how much the show has derailed from the books, S3 could potentially be very different from book 3, but since I haven't read them I have no clue how much the story changed...
