Since Marilyn and Hera would be good friends, guess who else would be good friends? Kanan Jarrus and Jared Bannister

both went through some crap

All their friends like them have either been killed or are assumed dead

both super powerful supernatural creatures; Kanan a Wolf Force god and Jared a Dragon

both have sons who are half the thing that people die for; Ezra and Jacen are Force Sensitive and Billy is half dragon

Dume and Clefsphere

both “died” and became their respective supernatural creature

both gave up years of being alone and flying under the radar for their awesome wife

on the topic of wives, both their ladies are pretty badass, can and will throw hands for their kids, and understand that Jedi/dragon will always be a part of their husband‘s and kids’ lives and are totally cool with it

both love their respective lady so much it’s refreshing to see there are at least three guys in media who love their wives (to be clear, the third is Gomez Addams)

Kanan and Jared are really cool dads and 10/10 would have a bbq with each other’s families in the summer

Dragons update: book two is done starting book three.

I haven’t read books like this in so long. I mean really devoured them and read an entire book in less than 24 hours. This has definitely rekindled a love for books I thought was gone.

I kind of want to write a fic where Jared tells Marilyn he’s the adopted son of King Arthur and the following conversation. I feel like that would be harder to believe than “hey honey I’m a dragon“. I also think it would be really funny if Marilyn believes Jared is a dragon but can’t believe he’s the adopted son of arguably the most famous King
