My take on Dean saying "No Jareds" is honestly sadder than him having a crush on the man. That would be an improvement for his lot if it was just a "First crush on a man".

I think Jared is the one that gave him the idea to pursue Sirena. Not as some spiteful thing but because Dean was dodgy and Jared wanted to be a good roommate and encourage him. All "Go for it. The way you talk about her, it sounds like a done deal" style.

Think about it. He had to have known SOMETHING because he was out during that time. And if Dean and Jared are roommates, Dean had to have told him SOMETHING about having a guest over so Jared could make himself scarce.

Finding out he's actually bisexual/gay because of Jared, predictable but whatever. But taking dating advice from Jared that lead to him sleeping with his brother's first serious girlfriend? Now THAT is interesting.
