Bark Frameworks founder Jared Bark is part of Art Basel’s online viewing room: #Repost @yanceyrichardsongallery ・・・ We’re pleased to announce our participation in @artbasel OVR: Pioneers, on view March 24-27. Our viewing room features a selection of vintage photobooth assemblages by Jared Bark. Part of an extensive body of work made between 1969 and 1975, these unique works demonstrate Bark’s innovative and experimental use of a prosaic and restricted photographic format. In Untitled, PB #1124, 1974 shown here, Bark capitalized on the photobooth’s nearly-expired photo chemistry, an undesirable condition in normal use, to drastically change the tonality of the prints. #artbasel #jaredbark https://www.instagram.com/p/CMz2sahF1cF/?igshid=17zwzca18uz9o
