I N S P I R A T I O N • • • As Black History Month comes to a close, I'll be transparent and admit that I should've done a better job learning more this month and sharing more about my heritage and history. However, I will not allow the month to end without me saying SOMETHING. I've always said that you don't have to ASPIRE to do something to be INSPIRED by what someone does or who they are. This is a crop of individuals, BLACK men might I add, who have inspired me in one way or another... Whether it be spiritually, musically, philanthropically, fashionably.. By their journey, by their words, by being who they are, I AM INSPIRED. Though this may not reach them all, to THESE men... thank you ALL for your inspiration to be FIRST, who God has called me to be and then subsequently pursue excellence and success in ALL that I do and the evidence to now unequivocally know that I CAN and believe that I WILL because I've seen it done by men who look like me.
