who puts pizza bagels and captain crunch in the shopping cart: Ryder. Kitty’s much more careful about what she eats and she’s trying to make Ryder more healthy but how successful she’ll be is yet to be seen.
who forgot the rule about putting foil in the microwave and subsequently caused a small fire: Ryder is much more likely to, especially since he’s easily distracted by things but he does remember most of the time.
who sleeps naked: Both of them have their comfortable pyjamas they like to sleep in, and she’ll definitely like sleeping in his t-shirts too but they’re also perfectly happy to fall asleep naked with each other, especially after sex.
who sleeps under 3 blankets: Kitty likes to complain she’s cold in New York, since she’s used to the warmer Mississippi temperatures but Ryder is also like a human hot water bottle so equally, she could just cuddle up to him instead.
who has a huge crush on Billy Joel: Neither of them.
who gets drunk and breaks shit: Ryder is probably the clumsier drunk out of the two, and Kitty’s much more sneaky at hiding stuff and getting away with it too.
who’s a closeted anime fan: Neither of them, although it’s much more likely to be Ryder.
who initiates sex at inappropriate times/places: Kitty. Right from the outset, she’s been the one to make the bolder moves out of the two. I think as they develop, Ryder will start making more of his own moves but he’d stick to appropriate times and places only. Kitty on the other hand, doesn’t give a fuck and will hit on her man whenever she feels like it, whether there are people around or not.
who’s afraid of Slenderman: Ryder is much more wary, Kitty doesn’t even give that stuff the time of day.
what their wedding song will be: Sweetest Devotion - Adele (I can send it to you if you haven’t heard it, I think most YouTube versions are taken down and it’s not on Spotify)
what their biggest fight was about: Kitty can start some pretty petty fights. She just gets bored and a little self destructive if she thinks things aren’t going to go her way. She’ll shout and scream but she doesn’t really mean most of it. A part of her is just testing Ryder to see whether he’ll get fed up and leave. Bigger fights are few and far between but it might be when the distance really starts testing them.
why they work together: A very good question. They just sort of do? He’s something completely different for both of them and it’s turning out pretty well. He’s not her usual type and they’ve had far from the most conventional start to their dating life. He’s a laid back guy though and is happy to deal with her high maintenance attitude, which is pretty important when it comes to Kitty. On her end, she’s willing to support Ryder (even if she doesn’t always communicate that well) and whilst she never really dug the whole dork thing before, she wouldn’t want him to change.
