is there a link to somewhere I could get your resource pack for java edition? the paintings look amazing by the way

It will be available on planetminecraft and other, similar pack and map sharing sites when it is ready!

It is not ready yet, and I will make it very clear whenever it is ready. Ideally I'm going to give it away when the map is ready, too, as the map is the whole reason I started this and I'm very proud of how the map is going to turn out as well, and I deeply appreciate the support that the map has been getting alongside the resource pack—buuuut if the map takes too long to finish after the resource pack has been finished, then I'll likely upload the pack first.

With all the work I've been doing on the pack, expect some updates on the status of the map soon, for a change of pace!

1. The magical spirits of the world have always seemed to have a fondness for Draim. They are often around him, even if not visible to the normal eye. Curious of what he is doing, and why. (When he was a tiny bean, he used to split his snacks to share with them.)

2. Veekay has sharp claws that can lock in place like a bat! This means if she can fly up or climb up somewhere, she can latch on… and just stay. There were some interesting trials and errors learning how to get her back down again over the years.

3. Mini can turn off her sense of taste. She doesn't need it and can go some time before remembering to restore it. She has forgotten this once or twice when cooking for others. (I'm so sorry, Veekay ;w; )

4. Seven is very light on his feet and can easily wiggle free of most people, places, and restraints. However, for some reason, he can never fully escape the grip Bruce can achieve on the back of his shirt that keeps him (some what) out of trouble.

5. Jak can love someone with all his heart but still be completely oblivious. His late wife actually proposed dating to him after they were friends for years and she still caught him a bit by surprise. It took several minutes for him to stop blushing and hiding his face to realize she was laughing so hard she was crying. They were married a year or two later.

6. Veekay loves books, but she often can’t read them yet! Thankfully, she’s got a village to help raise her and several ghostly friends who don’t mind late night story times while Mini is away.

15. do they trust their party? why or why not?

Tomomi trusts the party to varying degrees as she gets to know them more and more. Having watched them for a while now and how they react to things, she believes their hearts are usually in the right places. Even if they are a bit chaotic or extreme in their actions.

31. they’re given a blank piece of paper–what do they do with it?

The blank paper is consumed by the ever growing notes pile! Tomomi often restocks her supplies and still can find herself reaching for more paper when there is something she wishes to remember. Or on the most rare of occasions, when none are around, it may be folded into a small origami fox.

69. how would they describe their party members?

Silvano: Very much the dad of the group, stoic and serious most of the time, yet he isn't beyond some mischievousness himself. Silvano has lived a long time, and equally there is a lot to learn about him. He has many contacts and many intimidating friends. Seen chuckle less than five times, seemed alarmed by lock picking skills twice.

Talon: Appears very soft, and would love to try petting. Very loyal to Silvano and a great messenger!

Fay: The most well hidden of the party, and does tend to run off if not watched. Swears that this isn’t her usual behavior? Very caring for those who manage to find and befriend her. Very powerful against those who harm those friends. Otherwise a nervous and shy bean. Feels sort of like a younger sister? Protect.

Zephyr: Guardian of Fay and her hat. Has recently grown bigger and more like a dragon! Is it possible to ever hold?

Celli: Seems to hold herself more official and proper than most of the party. Probably too much so? Haven’t seen her join in on any of the group’s shenanigans, by choice, so far. Commands the frightening, probably not an actual horse, Lifio. Not a good idea to anger, as seen by Marwind fleeing her. Appears to like jewelry and makeup, so those might be good gifts?

Lifio: Terrifying in nature, but is bonded with Celli. How many apples a day to befriend?

Luca: He is too quick to throw himself into danger. He cares for his friends but seems to forget, or not understand, the pain he can cause them by not caring for himself too. He is a great cook but also a stern one if he catches you only having coffee and toast for breakfast. Worried for him like a little brother.

???: She hasn't met yet!

Marwind: Frustrating at times, but his heart is usually in the right place. Lifts the spirits of others with his music and shenanigans. Seems to have a brotherly bond with Luca and unfortunately also is too quick to throw himself into danger. Never trust a promise from Marwind, especially if it’s to stay out of trouble for any length of time.

Sun: Never leave alone with Marwind for any time. Seems to love shenanigans. Is friendly, attempted to hug at first sight, and caring, helped tend to the terrifying vampire bite. Also very powerful against those who harm his friends. Can’t imagine what being a demi god does to one’s way of thinking, but honestly hopes he is as light and carefree as he seems.

“...How?” - a very confused Jarexx who was expecting the regular poker game, not Teledji up in a tree

A regular poker game tonight was indeed the plan, but obviously not what had occurred, judging from a very huffy Teledji Adeledji stuck on a sturdy tree branch.

“Sore losers, that’s how!” Teledji spat, glaring holes at the direction of the nearest tavern. “Oh, sure blame me, the lalafell for their poor luck! Why not, hm? 'tis obvious I’m a cheater, right? Uncivilized bumpkins! Such manners would never go through in the Platinum Mirage and I’ll be sure they won’t see the morrow once I’m down from this tree!” 

He continued to grumble, shaking a fist dramatically in direction of the loud tavern, only to allow an ace of spades to drop from his sleeve, right to Jarexx’ feet.

Teledji’s expression froze. Suddenly the anger of those card players seemed... somewhat justified.

I have (so far) adapted two DnD characters to fit into FFxiv, and they both started out as kobolds (and became lalafell). But one of them (or at least her FFxiv version) is literally never lost because she's a trained navigator while the other one exists in a perpetual state of lost no matter what universe he's in.

Theolaud and Raymond are a pair that travel together - aside from being former co-workers and co-studies - is mostly because Theolaud feels too bad to leave Raymond behind. Theolaud does not get lost, even if he’s only read about an area, he’s memorized the map before hand. Raymond, gets distracted so easily, that he’ll lose his way inside of his own inn room. He’ll insist he’s not lost. But he most definitely is.  But hey, at least they’ll never lose track of time with their professor in their pockets - assuming Theolaud doesn’t purposely hurl Eulan into foot traffic. He also functions as a compass sometimes.

I’d say in his younger years he was a hopeless romantic who longed for love as quickly as possible. As he’s aged, however, he has certainly become far more picky and scrutinizes possible partners closely. Since he’s married it’s not something he has to think about these days, but it would still apply if that status ever changed.
