“In Hoi Ann –Vietnam- in the markets they have like all the animals… the ducks and stuff… we were really upset by seeing those ducks. So, my girlfriend and I bought two ducks and went to the river in Hoi Ann and untied their feet and put them in the river. Then we started this thing where people could PayPal us some money so we can buy more ducks, it’s only like 7 bucks to buy a duck. So we bought like 40 or 50 ducks with the money people sent us over the next couple of days. The Vietnamese ladies from this tailor shop were so sweet and helped us organize to take these ducks near a temple, ‘cuz you’re not allowed to kill anything in front of a temple, and it was near a marsh way far out so nobody would be able to catch them again. So we opened the cages and started to put the ducks into the water one by one and they started jumping out of the cages, out of the boat. And there were like black ducks and white ducks and they all went off separately, which was really cute. That was a really special thing. The next time I am in Vietnam, I want to do it again – birds in cages really bother me.”
