With the powerful sounding twin guitar attack of Dave Stern, Jason Farrell & a very hard hitting drummer, whose name escapes me, Bluetip played a blinder of a gig in the Duke of York pub - ‘Kerosene 454’, who were on the same European tour, also played and were great. A few months later I printed & sent a few photos to Jason. Three and a half years after that I received a package from Dischord Records containing six copies of the new Bluetip album ‘Post Mortem Anthem’ with this photo on the cover - This made me smile an awful lot:) On the CD version it says the photo was taken in Dublin but it was in fact Belfast but hey, what’s 100 miles when it’s between friends?
