"BELIEVE"
by Jason Naylor
You are strong. You are brave. You are alive. . . . You are not alone. YOU GOT THIS! —Jason Naylor
In 1987 Javier Marquez immigrated to the United States looking for a better life. After years of hard work in the apparel industry and working his way up through the ranks, in Marquez began manufacturing for a major label and hired hundreds of new 'family' members. Watching jobs increasingly leave the country, Marquez rededicated himself to his producing a quality product in Los Angeles and launched Xabi Jeans. In 2019 @Xabi.LA partnered with award-winning artist Jason Naylor to reflect their values with this message on Union Pacific Ave in Boyle Heights. After studying graphic design at BYU Naylor "immersed himself into the life, color, and magic of New York" now reflected in the colorful messages of love and positivity he spreads across the globe. @jasonnaylor/

“LOVE IS BLIND”
by Jason Naylor
BYU trained and NYC based artist, designer, and creative director Jason Naylor quickly developed a "taste for spreading life and color into any and every project he could get his hands on." Perhaps best known for his inspirational typographic messages, consistent in all of Naylor's murals are bold colors, rich blacks, and his messages of love and positivity reflecting a core value that "kindness is the key to success." When low-brow art-toy collectible producer and retailer @3DRetro brought him across the country to add his touch to the back of their facility on S Victory Blvd, on the Burbank-Glendale border, Naylor says he wanted to try something a little different. Challenging himself "to do more abstract colors and visuals, and less typography" Naylor wanted the wall to simply look like "a huge pop of color and less like a message." @jasonnaylor/
