Going through some old pictures today and came across a bunch of shots that were taken of Blitzkid’s very first tour of Europe back in Oct. of 2004. Jason was with us on this tour playing guitar- and I’ll never forget how much fun we all had. The first two pics are of Halloween night in Mannheim Germany where we all dressed up like classic German horror movie characters. TB was Dr. Caligari, Rhea M was Knock Renfield, I was Nosferatu and Jason was a very convincing Cesare. I’ll never forget how hard he laughed when by first song- my bald cap broke and my fangs went flying Into the crowd leaving me with only pointed ears and a overly white face. It didn’t help that I was a substitute teacher at that time and my haircut reflected it. I spent the rest of the show looking like a discount bin elf from Lord of the Rings and jason had me all rattled for the rest of the show. Last pic is form a day off we had in Austria visiting castles. I forgot all about this pic but it really reflects a great era. I miss this dude tremendously and remain keenly aware of how fortunate i am to have had a great friend like him.
