This is a mock cover for one volume (cause it's def gonna be more than one) or Arc 1 of existential crisis mode by @luciaintheskyainthi on A03.
My cover art is the gorgeous fic fanart by @baibitch here on tumblr that I immediately knew I wanted to do on the cover. I spent some time getting the broken glass effect, manually removing all the non broken glass fragment background and also creating a glitching Peter which I was originally gonna have on the front but it was def getting too busy so I adding that to the back. I will also be including it unchanged in the typeset in future.
I decided when making the spine that I liked the idea of a brick wall from crime alley being used as chapter pages and continued that on at the spine and would keep that for arc 2. I did spent some time on this adding bullet holes, graffiti and blood splatter aswell as a crime alley sign.
I continued the graffiti on the cover title. I'm not sure I like how I have done the author name on the cover though. I'd appreciate and welcome any advice or opinions. I don't think the font matched it.
The second cover I would likley go for a more romcon vibe to show the changing and evolving mental place of Peter.
I have also posted a screen record (sped up because dang) of the end of this cover creation as I have started doing that now but had forgotten at the beginning so this cover design took about 1 hour and 15/20 minutes. In the screen record you also see some art from @hazzymayy for JasonxPeter that I really like though I'm not sure if it will fit with this fic but def Need to have on a cover because dang they are are so good.
