BIG brain moment i JUST realized/decided that zeshra didn't know any common before meeting jasper because he would've only ever been around other night elves up to that point

jasper would've had to teach him

in turn jasper wouldn't know any darnassian because he's gilnean and theydve JUST gotten out of the country, but by that point most night elves would also know at least some common so it's not as pressing an issue

but that meant he couldn't really talk back zeshra, so zeshra had to teach HIM

jasper and zeshra are actually pretty close in age developmentally. zeshra’s the night elf equivalent of 24, and jasper’s 27

zeshra also actually hasn’t been a satyr for very long, just since the third war. he’s just a baby satyr

so this is roughly the height difference between jasper and zeshra. jasper is 5′10′’ and zeshra is 9′2′’ minuse the horns

zeshra can shapeshift into a smaller form, but “small” for him is like, night elf sized, so he’s still quite a bit bigger than his boyfriend.
