plot:
“For the love of-” he said covering her mouth and pulled her back into the shadows, “you’ll get us both kill and then you’ll be useless to help anyone else.” He didn’t know her relation to the one being executed but all he knew was that he could get her out of here safely.
Jasper was too gods all damned old to be dealing with children who didn’t want to take their studies seriously. So, when the person he’d been paired with had done absolutely none of the work, despite his attempts to reach out and work with them, Jasper had merely shrugged, informed the professor, and done the work on his own, earning him nearly full marks, and leaving the other with a zero for the assignment. Something his partner had apparently taken great offense to, judging by the way they’d been finding him all over campus to try and pick a fight with him. Today, Jason had settled on the grass near the library, intent on working through the readings he still had left to do for classes, when a shadow fell over him. Unconcerned, and assuming it was the recent annoyance of a classmate he’d picked up, Jasper didn’t bother looking up before he spoke, absently turning the page of his current textbook as he did so. “No, I’m not going to intercede for you, for the last time. If you wanted to get a grade for the assignment, you should have responded to any of the ten emails or messages I sent you over two weeks. Your failing grade is not my problem, and if you don’t leave me alone, I will literally, actually, bite you. In full wolf form. Go away.”
