I think I'm going to have a break for a while. We found out that my cat is dead. I'm not in the right headspace to be writing for you guys, and I don't want it to be bad or anything. Sorry about that.

I'm sorry if I'm not very active over the next little bit. My cat has gone missing, and it has made me feel like complete shit. I'm trying to get a therapist, but I haven't gotten there yet. I'll try to update you guys and stay relatively active, but I make no guarantees.

The issue with a character like Ghost, a character so incredibly complex, with so much trauma and history, is that it's very difficult to completely wrap my head around how they would love someone. And for Ghost, I've formed quite a fleshed out idea, but it takes a lot of time and focus. It takes knowing all aspects of them, and from that being able to make guesses.

I feel the same way about Alhaitham. I don't want to undermine the complexity of these characters, and complexity of their emotions, but they would not love by normal standards. Because they do not fit with normal standards. And with most characters, they are normal enough that I can easily understand how they would love and act in a relationship, but some characters have such depth that it becomes quite a challenge.

Working hard to give you all food. Fic being posted at 4PM PST (7PM EST) tomorrow, and working on the ghost fic. Also have another idea for a ghost fic which will come eventually.

okay so, uh, short story, I've been gone for a while on an overnight hike which is why I haven't been active at all. I'm gonna take a shower, and then I'm gonna write the Sung Jinwoo fic, and then play HSR and probably update my will write list. Hope you're looking forward to it!!
