JASPER TWIN (AU? Story?)

I have posted about them a couple of times, but l never really explained what's going on with them or what the story is.

So put it shortly the story is mostly based off the alt Jasper audios. Tiny got pregnant and had twins. My friend thought it was like, Jasper had a twin and honestly that's my fault for saying "Jasper Twin Au" and not "Jasper Kid Au" or something like that.

But let's get specific!

Tiny was always an overachiever, mostly as a result of her mom having extreme expectations. But she knew for a very long time that she had always wanted to be a doctor. With that goal in mind, Tiny had graduated earlier than she was supposed to. Then she had been accepted into a very prestigious and respected college. A new chapter opened up, one that she knew was going to be great, where she’d do lots of amazing things, set and complete new goals, meet new people and continue her hard work.

So losing 3 limbs and falling pregnant at practically the same time, destroyed all of that. She gave up on the college she was accepted into, and ended up stuck with her family again. Tiny’s mother berated her for getting pregnant, which led Tiny to become rather detached from the babies. Because of that she consistently neglected appointments, refusing to update herself on anything about them. Tiny’s mom had guilt tripped her into keeping them, despite doctors trying to shut down the idea, saying it was dangerous and could end up with Tiny dead. Whenever Tiny was alone and it was quiet, she would just hold herself and swear at her stomach. Whispering insults to not only the baby but to herself for letting it all happen in the first place. She really hated that baby and had no plans on keeping it whatsoever.

When she was giving birth, she didn’t really know what she was dealing with. It was a bloody, painful mess. Everything had been seeming to go wrong. After she was stitched up she refused to hold, let alone look in the baby's direction. Tiny was still experiencing extreme pain, after investigation they realized she was actually still pregnant. The doctors didn't want to proceed with another natural birth after the damage the first baby did to Tiny, which led to having a C-section.

Tiny was still denying the babies. Tiny’s mother along with the nurses tried to convince her to hold them just once but Tiny remained stubborn. A few failed attempts later, Lovebug decided to take a shot at talking to her. (their relationship will be its own post). LB talked to Tiny, saying she knows it’s not her fault that she feels detached, and that nothing that has happened was her fault, but Tiny should hold them once and see if she still wants to give them away. Tiny tried to think about things more logically despite the harsh feelings. The thought that it would be her fault if they ended up in a bad home, knowing she could be good to them. The odds of keeping them would be better, but doing it alone made her nervous. LB just wanted to be sure that whatever Tiny chose to do was something she actually wanted. Tiny was hesitant, but was listening. Tiny agreed to hold them once, only if LB did it first. Neither of them knew how to hold a baby, so Lovebug was the first one to hold the twins.

As soon as Tiny held them though, all the anger and confusion that had built up, they vanished. All the maternal instincts kicked in at once and she couldn’t help but cry. Almost for forgiveness, feeling guilty for wishing so many horrible things on kids who did nothing at all. Tiny’s grandparents offered to let her move in with them, the house was quiet and they were both capable enough to help Tiny when she needed it. Then from then on she raised River and Rosemary with little help.

Due to Tiny’s disabilities the twins were homeschooled for a good chunk of their lives, up until middle school. Though River was homeschooled for longer, neither of them wanted him to be. It was easier for Tiny to handle them if she had no reason to take them anywhere, and when they went somewhere it was always Lovebug who had to drive them everywhere, despite living 30 minutes away from them. It also helped Tiny teach the twins how to take care of her and themselves. Rosie started to despise helping her mom, thinking she had better things to do. So Rosie was forced to handle herself by going to a public school, while River stayed home to help Tiny.

River and Rosie’s favorite thing to do was walk around and play in the woods with Keizer since they were old enough to walk. Rosie always enjoyed being outside more and would try her best to get River to go out every time she did, but he would always sit in the living room watching tv or playing video games. Rosie would stay in the woods for hours, always worrying Tiny and River. Though, she always came back right as the sun started to set.
