Pearl audibly gasped when she saw the larger gem, and relief flooded through her form. Finally, finally someone who she could report to, who she could trust as a direct link to one of the Diamonds. She was thoroughly exhausted with the other gems she had encountered, who seemed to have no care whatsoever for whether or not they were able to return to Homeworld, or contact one of their superiors to inform them about the situation. All they did was rattle on and on to her with nonsensical claims, and she was at her wits end with it all.

But now--

“Jasper,” Pearl said, and the servant gem lowered herself to one knee and bowed her head respectfully to her superior. Finally, she felt a chance to get herself back on track.
