Pearl took the flower, looking over it and feeling it. Earth was so strange but this....’flower’ was beautiful. She looked at Rose before back at the flower. A small smile curled on her lips as she reached on her tip topes to place the flower into Rose’s hair.

❝ Prettiest things should be on pretty people. ❞

It as so strange to be so casual at someone, it ha her stomach fluttering. She quickly shifted her eyes away with a small blush and placed her hands together in front of herself.

Once she was dropped carefully into the fountain she was healed. Though very slowly because of the damage. Once she checked her gem she laughed hysterically and jumped into Pearl’s arms hugging her tightly. “I’m so sorry. I’m an idiot.”

Pearl’s eyes widened at the sudden wet gem touching her, looking down at Amethyst before punching her arm. ❝ Don’t you EVER scare me like that again! ❞

She clung tightly to the other gem, crying hysterically. Pearl really thought that would have been the end, that it might have been too late. But even seeing her fine had Pearl shaken up.

❝ I’m so sorry...This is all my fault. I should have been there, I can’t even protect the ones I love. I’m a terrible fighter, a terrible gem, a terrible girlfriend....I almost lost you. If you were gone I...I don’t know what I’d do. I don’t think I could handle it. I love you so much Amethyst.... ❞

Pearl’s arms tightened around the purple gem, letting out a choked sob as she buried her head into the nape of Amethyst’s neck. All she wanted to do was be as close as possible

It was rare someone actually wanted to hear about her experience with Rose’s fighting, well besides bits from Steven. ❝ To be quite accurate, the sword wasn’t too big for her since she herself was quite large herself. Our good friend..she custom made the sword for Rose, since her weapon was her famous shield. But even like myself, I’m sure it took her awhile to get used to it. She was a built fighter unlike me and you Connie. ❞

Placing her hands together with a content sigh. ❝ You know, when I first became a rebel, after knowing Rose for awhile, the reason I started training to fight was because I wanted to protect. It took me quiet awhile to catch on, because Pearl’s are anything but fighters originally, but that doesn’t mean we can’t. Besides strength isn’t everything, skill and precision is key. ❞
