I really want to do this but man, it'd take some time as someone who is not great at making defaults lol. I think it would slim down the downloads folder by a ton tho.
Oh, I’m not making any defaults (although that is on my list to figure out). I’m just downloading ‘em. Which is not as huge a project as making my own for everything. But yes, I think it will ultimately knock down the size of my downloads folder. I discovered today that, for some godawful reason, I have accumulated 1.7GB of just clothing. O_O And that’s all Compressorized. Which is more than I have of hair, and hair files are a lot larger. So...Yeah, insanity. No wonder my game has a tendency to crash when my Sims buy new clothing... I’m guessing that this project will be (hopefully significantly) smaller than 1.7GB, total.

I did this! I did the same with hairs too, defaulted every single one of them. Only infants-children have custom clothes, since there's so little choice to start. Very liberating haha.
I defaulted a good chunk of the Maxis hairs relatively recently. But I also have custom hairs. I need to do something with hair because some of the ones I have I don’t really like and/or never really use, but I don’t want to dump them wholesale because there are some that I really like and I’m not sure I could find them all again. Which I’d have to do because, like all my folders, the hair folder is a freaking mess, so deleting from the folder really feasible. So that leaves deleting from Bodyshop and BLEAAAAAAGH! :P
I’m tempted to just dump everything and start over by just downloading from my favorite hair texturers, but right now that idea is a bit too overwhelming. More overwhelming than is the idea of dumping all the custom clothing, anyway.

Yeah, it’s something that I want to learn to do, and I have a few tutorials bookmarked. I tried to do it rather a long time ago when I pregmorphed some Maxis meshes and wanted to replace the Maxis meshes with the pregmorphed ones, but I ended up giving up in frustration. But it’s been several years and I understand a few more things now, so maybe it’s time to give it another shot. :)

Ugh the tooth thing!! Why does this always happen to toddlers in the crib?? I noticed it on one of mine, and thought it was just her face, but this is the second time in a couple days I’ve seen someone else’s Sim with the same thing!
No, it’s definitely a graphics/animation glitch that happens. I’m not sure why, especially because it doesn’t happen all the time. It does happen with every crib, though, at least all the ones I have, Maxis and custom. So, I’m guessing it’s not related to the crib objects but perhaps is an issue with the toddler body mesh and/or its animations. Perhaps toddlers with certain face/jaw shapes are more prone to it, though. Maybe that explains why it doesn’t happen every time.

I so agree. Or even if while on the phone with another Sim (because they can receive those calls at random) if you could click on the phone and have your sim invite their friend over mid conversation.
Yup. Or, if they receive a call from a friend (rather than making the call themselves), it’d be good if you got a pop-up at some point during the call asking if you want to invite over the friend who called, similar to the one you get when a Sim chats with a friend on the computer. I know you could call the friend right back and invite them over, but it’d be one less step if you got a pop-up. :)

Heh. That would be fun. :) I believe I have seen some walls that someone made using photographs from the brothel(s) at Pompeii, but something more 3D would be hilarious. :) Something like this winged penis with its own penis, maybe. :) Ahhhh, if only I could mesh....
