Welcome to the Jassa Week Commission Giveaway! We are so incredibly excited to be partnering with some phenomenal artists within our community to host a giveaway for four free commissions! This giveaway will run from today until midnight EST on November 1st, 2024. The winners will be announced on November 3rd, 2024! The giveaway will take place on both Instagram and Tumblr, but we ask that participants choose one of the platforms to engage with to be fair and considerate to those who may only use one of the two platforms—following, there will be two artists per platform for this giveaway.

For the Tumblr portion of the giveaway, we are so very excited to have @majuandrad and @tuluaart as our artists! @majuandrad will be offering the full body Jassa commission and @tuluaart will be offering the half body Jassa commission!

To enter into the giveaway, please be following @jassaweek and the two artists listed above. Like and reblog this post. For additional entries, tag friends who may be interested in participating in Jassa Week—you are able to tag as many friends as you’d like, as one tag is one additional entry. Another additional entry opportunity is to reblog/tag us in a post explaining what intrigues you about Jassa, or any theories/headcanons that you may have for them! Please find the rules and guidelines below the cut line.

C O M M I S I O N R U L E S

You are allowed two minor changes during the sketch process—anything additional (extra characters, complex details, etc.) will be an additional charge at the discretion of the artist.

The commission must be used during Jassa Week with credit given to the artist.

The commission will be allowed a simple background—anything complex will be an additional charge at the discretion of the artist.

Only SFW commissions are allowed for this giveaway—NSFW will be at the discretion of the artist.

The commission must be created for personal use—if intended for commercial usage, that will be an additional charge at the discretion of the artist.

In the case that you no longer wish to participate in Jassa Week, you will forfeit your commission and the runner up will be offered your place with the artist.

If the artist expresses any negativity from the giveaway winner, it will be at the discretion of the artist on whether they would want to continue the giveaway process with you. In the case that they do not, you will forfeit your spot to a runner up.

Welcome to the official prompt list for Jassa Week 2025! We cannot wait to celebrate and appreciate Jurian and Vassa on February 2nd-8th, 2025. You are free to participate in any way that you wish, from playlists, fanart, mood boards, to fanfictions—the possibilities are endless! This event will primarily take place on Tumblr, but we will have the option of engaging on Instagram (coming soon) and AO3!

Please be sure to tag all of your submissions with @jassaweek and to use the hashtag #jassaweek2025 in order for us to find your contributions! When posting on Instagram, please use the same hashtag and tag @/jassaweek—we also encourage inviting us to collaborate with your submission!

DAY ONE: TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN — How do you interpret the similarities and differences between Jurian and Vassa, and how do they embrace them within their budding relationship?

DAY TWO: DUTY AND HONOR — Jurian and Vassa share similar visions for the future, despite their means and methods of obtaining such a future. What does duty and honor mean to a cursed Queen and Commander?

DAY THREE: FUTURE AND POSSIBILITIES — When all is said and done and the war has long passed by, where do you see Jurian and Vassa? Regaining the throne? A move to Prythian? What of the mortal lands and the aftermath? Or, is there a different path that they may take?

DAY FOUR: “AT EACH OTHER’S THROAT” — “… as they like to be.”

DAY FIVE: BELONGING / EXILES — Two souls that have dealt with such tragedy, finding belonging amongst one another? What is the balance of exile and meant to be between Jurian and Vassa? How do they embrace being members of the Band of Exiles?

DAY SIX: LOVERS — There is something so deeply special about human connection, even without the tie of the mating bond. How do Jurian and Vassa fit the lover motif? Love at first sight, or could it be something else that is explained through their dynamic?

DAY SEVEN: AU / FREE DAY — Go crazy with this one; any topic of your choosing!

The most important part is that everyone has a good time during the event and that can only be made possible by you!
