no offense but the queer rep in critical role is so godtier that sometimes it makes me forget that most fantasy stories aren’t like that

it’s just so nice to hear stories abt bis, and gay men and lesbians and n/b folks (& also poc folks though I’m not in a position to judge that representation fully myself) in a way that doesn’t feel exploitatory and is respectful and is just generally abt cool people doing cool shit and they just happen to be queer without it being played for laughs or the sexual gratification of straight people which should be normal, but it isn’t yet. But it feels like it is normal in the critical role verse, and that will hopefully encourrage other creators to follow their example of acceptance and diversity.
