"why do you need your own people to die in your war to make it righteous, why can't you just pay us to die for you" is such a karen travisism. such an interesting contrast to the themes of the main series which is like "the republic outsourcing its manpower in the form of an unpaid mercenary army is ruining the lives of the soldiers they had manufactured"

and i want to challenge myself to make a problematic jaster that really would say this.
