A Siren's purpose was to tempt humans away and kill them once they were in a false sense of security, but Alex never had the stomach for that, especially not when the human was as magnificent as this one, who looked as if he was frozen in time by pale lips and cascading hair that stuck to the skin as it was merely meant to be there.
