Tröegs Java Head Stout (Picked up at a Weis in PA). A 3 of 4. A great coffee stout without a ton of complexity. Relatively simple and straightforward -- plenty of coffee and chocolatey sweetness in the nose with just a little bit of roast astringency up front. A thicker body thanks to the oatmeal, and some light bitterness that helps cut through the relatively powerful sweetness and prevents this from becoming cloying. Great stuff.
