i just feel like attraction would be extremely infrequent for him, you know? it's not like he never experiences it, or needs something specific like an emotional bond; it's just... there a lot less frequently than it is for allo people. maybe he thought he was ace for a while, but some people (enjolras... courfeyrac...) made it clear that he was only on the spectrum.

in this case, i think the matter is mostly that he suppresses any desires he may have in favor of his work. still, even in a more natural state, i dont really believe that javert would experience allo levels of attraction. headcanoning him as asexual is a bit too indulgent to the stereotype for my taste, but he's absolutely on the spectrum.

come on -- dont you get the sense that marius is the only attraction shes experienced in a long time? i mean, theres montparnasse, but it seems to me that theyre in a sort of convenience relationship, if they are in a relationship at all. and even when it comes to marius, her infatuation is far more romantic than it is sexual, at least from what we know. i think that eponine can experience sexual attraction, but not often at all.
