My muse’s opinion of your muse

Aryn honestly thinks Shiro takes on more than he can consistently handle. It’s escapism for not having to deal with the issues. Fixing other people’s problems is a bandage for fixing his own. His heart is big and it’s a beautiful trait but bandages don’t stop a cut artery from bleeding. He is the last person she wants to see fall apart but is unsure if he’ll be able to deal with all the stresses if he doesn’t at least a little. In no way does she want to see him fall and not get up again. She wants him to heal and move on to the great person she knows he can be. She’ll do whatever she can to help with that because she sees herself as a lost cause and him still full of potential. Some hypocrisy there? Yes, most certainly.

My opinion of your muse

My opinion! Boy howdy. Well I have always had such a soft spot for Shiro. I don’t think that’s any sort of secret. Canonically, I enjoy his story with all the bits and pieces of hardship strewn through it while he’s just trying to do his best and hold together a team that’s working towards something he believes in. It’s a lone wolf dynamic while still being a team player that I’ve enjoyed. Your interpretation-wise, all of what I already said still applies. I think you play him very well. Very true to character but the wonderful thing is you continue to elaborate and give us insight to the mental processes behind the actions you choose for him and it’s just lovely to see. Makes it all feel very real, and even if it wouldn’t be the exact things the writers would do, it makes it all very reasonable and believable. I think you pay attention to the important stuff and explore the intricacies really well. Also you’re not afraid of ranges of emotion, you let him get angry, happy, sad and all the rest and play it how you think it’d go with him. Instead of limiting him to x y and z. Which makes him a joy to interact with.

My favorite part about our muse’s interactions

Oh jeez. Uh, all of it? I don’t think we’ve ever done anything that I haven’t cared for. I guess my favourite part is just their dynamic overall. The two idiots who are so similar but also really different. I just really love their relationship with one another, big sister and lil brother. Not that I’m sure Shiro doesn’t have his big brother moments too though. Mainly that they have the ability to give each other love and a support system behind the scenes while still calling each other on their respective shit. I love what we have managed to braid .

A wish/plot I want to write for our muses

Oh I still have a bunch, some small things, other bigger. Mainly I am just looking forward to continuing some of the stuff on the go. Getting into that small fight and getting Aryn on to the Castle ship, so they can have some developing combos, and poor Shiro can be confused as to hell this lady is. Also wouldn’t mind to explore a bit of drug withdrawal stuff with Aryn during that Shiro could maybe help her through a bit or something. Otherwise the therapy one if you’re still game. Been a long while so if not, no worries, we can ad-lib a bunch of that. And still game for her confronting him about his s5 behaviour that we discussed previously, but not sure what you’re feeling about that in light of s6.

A way your muse has made mine better

Oh a bunch of ways. I love playing Aryn equally as a hardass, a goof or as compassionate. Our interactions have have let me explore all of those, especially the latter two. For that I’m just really grateful and happy I got to. Your opening up his character to allow her to have a place of significance there despite Aryn being an OC has meant a lot to me, and it has developed the more nurturing side of her that doesn’t get to be seen as often compared to the jaded abused dog side.

Plot idea for our muses || @jawblade​

Fun idea: Pidge only being able to disable Shiro’s arm as, well, conveniently as she’s able to because she used her proximity with him to implant a back door conduit in his prosthetic. Now let’s say this goes one or two ways.

The more possessive/controlling Pidge grows of Shiro, the more she tries toying with his arm—transforming it into a clicker of sorts. Like one you’d use for dogs, except she’d develop his negative and positive associations through small-time shocks and something akin to pumps of dopamine (Depends on accessibility; Pidge could just rely on building negative associations)

Enemy hacker discovering and tapping into this conduit to enable the controls of his arm, which, if we’re talking main verse, could turn into a sweet set-up for a Shiro actually losing his patience with Pidge moment. If nothing else, imagine that look of panic when his arm freezes up and burns like he’s back in captivity.
