The pulpit at the Church of Peace in Jawor (Jauer) was commissioned from Matthaus Knotte in 1670, not too long after the church itself was finished in 1655. (edit: corrected the second date)

Interior of the Church of Peace in Jawor (Jauer). This Lutheran church, built in 1654-1655 was amongst the largest timber-framed buildings in Europe and could house a congregation of six thousand. This capacity came in handy since the Peace of Westphalia only granted the Silesian Lutherans the right to build three such Churches. Not too many, given that before the Habsburgs began a forceful recatholization of the region, Protestants had actually been the majority.
