Jax needs to pull his head out of his ass and remember that he's not the hottest person in Red Edge
That’s not cruelty, that’s a reality check wrapped in frustration. “Jax needs to pull his head out of his ass” doesn’t come from nowhere—it comes from watching someone ride confidence straight into arrogance. There’s a difference between knowing you’re attractive and acting like the town owes you attention for it, and Jax seems to have blurred that line.
This reads like people are tired of the posturing. The entitlement. The assumption that charm alone is a personality. Red Edge is full of attractive people, and the fastest way to stop being one of them is to forget that part. Confidence is magnetic; ego is exhausting.
If Jax wants to stay hot in the eyes of the town, a little humility would go a long way. Because nothing cools attraction faster than acting like you’re the main character in a place full of them.
