HEEHOOOOO I forgot how much I like this one! Every day I am chewing on this fuckin möbius strip of a timeloop.

Every goddamn day I think about how Hermes from Hadestown gets to see this go down over and over and over again and I am CHEWING ON IT

And that’s when he saw him. Him, who’s name he couldn’t remember, standing tall and aloof, the bronze crown on his head almost glowing in the moonlight as the woods opened up, pushing the wolves back for at least a moment, as he stood and looked down at Jay for just a second, face kind but impassive, before turning to walk inevitably down the path the woods had made for him, down to the shores of the lake and into the water until he was gone, and Jay couldn’t even see the glow of the crown under the water.

(Technically this is two sentences but the first one doesn’t count <3)
