If Vinny had a crush, you bet he would never say anything about it but his actions would speak loud enough.

Like how he carries yout stuff with a grunt, how he walks you home, and how he, just a little, is softer with you compared to everyone else.

He doesn't know how it happened himself, but he ended up waiting for your text almost every 10 minutes. Which he found weird, because he never really cared about online chit chats before.

He may not admit it but he's much softer with you, like using softer tone for example. He does it automatically, sometimes he doesn't even realize it.

But his blush gives him away the most! Whenever you are as much as standing too close to him, his cheeks are already heating up! (Sung teased him about it a lot)

It's also easy to notice his jealousy whenever he sees you with other guys. He acts territorial sometimes, goes quiet and sizes up a guy, observing him like a darn predator.

But if you confront him about it, he'll deny it. Him? Having crush? Nah, no way....right?

Now Jay, especially in his nerd era, is just as much as tsundere as Vinny, just a bit less aggressive.

I'd say it's much, muchh harder to guess what Jay is thinking. Maybe his hard gaze will make you insecure, maybe you won't mind, but one thing for sure—you wouldn't know how he's thinking of you exactly.

He's good at keeping to himself overall, so it wouldn't be hard for him. And yet, he still wouldn't be able to resist stealing glances at you during classes, or when you are talking to another guy.

Jay doesn't really like helping others out in homework but you? Oohh he definitely would help you out in everything. In fact, he'd hesitantly offer if you need him to help you and silently would celebrate if you accept the offer:)

He would be such a BIG listener for you! You can yap about everything to him and he would genuinely listen.

Jay found himself remembering everything you mentioned about yourself. Why? He's not too sure. But what he knows is that, you're constantly on his mind.

I'm actually 100% convinced that this mf will have playlist of songs that reminds him of you. And he listens to them one by one, every single day, while imagining him and you together.

It's actually pretty easy to tell that he loves you. He's all smiley with you, soft blush resting on his cheeks, how he glares at every single guy that dares to talk to you—that's why he gets upset when you play oblivious to his feelings.

He makes sure his crew knows to don't fuck with you, or else they will have to answer him personally.

Now, Oliver IS shy. He's not exactly most honest about his feelings for you, but it still got obvious to Clover and Poel.

initially, jay isn't one to wake up late and be lazy in a day. if he's up at that certain time, then he should be awake at that time everyday, making it his schedule. keeping his timing right, and everything set.

but crazy stuff happened last night and jay does not know how he ended up being kicked out of his house again due to fighting with his mom for the hundredth time of the year. maybe its because of that bike, pissed mrs. jo off so much that she had to snapped at her son until he ran away from home. again.

very good timing actually. because while thinking of a place to stay at, he thought of yours first. but the risk of getting caught by your parents are high and he does not want to get in any more trouble, enough for his own problems.

but you said something in your text messages that lessens his problems;

with a soft groan out of your lips, you stretched your body out of stiffness. trying to get the sleepy eyes wide open, it only flinches due to the bright lighting coming from the window. your room looks a little brighter now that its the daylight.

when feeling a weight being put next to you on the bed, you've come to remember that jay had took a sleepover. you open your eyes to see the boy, sleeping soundly. he looked so peaceful, not one nonchalance is seen in his face but only vulnerability. cute.

isn't it ironic how your sharp stare could wake jay up? like his eyes suddenly just slowly opens as if he felt you looking at him?

he yawns, moving so much that he hides his face onto the pillow because of the bright room.

"...shut the lights off...." his groggy voice muffled on the pillow resulting you to laugh softly.

you sat up, turning to where the wall clock is, taking a note of what time it is now. "its 10, jay. wake up you lazy little–"

jay only groaned, muffling onto the pillow as he lazily moves his hand to firmly hold your waist and pull you back down on the mattress.

"go to sleep, y/n.." he mumbled, arms now just limping over your body.

not only did he convince you to fall asleep once again, but he made the both of you wake up in the afternoon that you've missed your daily routine for today!

but its okay, if its just for once then you could take it. you're hoping tomorrow will be better and that you'd get to wake up early.

KANG HANNAM !

the clock hits 12am, you and dom just got to your hotel room from a long day of celebrating yet another victory of their race. you all bid goodnight to each others before entering each shared room, looking forward for a better day tomorrow.

stumbling upon the doorstep, you groan out of drunkenness. still sober, but your mind is hazy a little. tired, and in need for some good sleep. but hey, dom is aware enough to not let you lay on the fresh mattress with your outside clothes.

so to be clear, he helped you get off of your heels, take off your clothes and changed them for you, tired your hair up in a comfortable bun which is not perfect but he tries.

now he's holding you steadily by the sink, wiping off your makeup with one of the makeup products he had repeatedly asked you which one you used for daily.

"y/n open your mouth." dom says, holding a small cotton pad as he look down on your lips which is now messed up by the lipstick he had try to wipe but your head kept bobbing down due to being so sleepy.

your eyes were sliiiiiightly open, watching through the mirror in front of you as dom tries his hardest to wipe your face clean from earlier's makeup.

"hey~ ... i can do it myself.. ya know..." your cracked voice made dom smirks, chuckling softly at how hilarious you looked in this state.

"no you can't. you drank too much, i told you we're minors!" he says, throwing the cotton pad away to grab another as he pours a makeup remover on the new one.

you, quickly snatched the cotton pad from his hand and removed your makeup yourself, trying to see your reflection better even with the half closed eyes.

"minors? i'm... i'm 20! ... uh.. 27..." you yapped, hand barely even pressing the cotton pad on your face as you trailed off your words with a long "uhhhhhhhhh"

dom laughed heartedly at the way you're talking and acting, taking the pad off your hand as he wipe them all off.

"alright. lets get this over with, yeah?"

after spending 40 minutes in the bathroom brushing your teeth and washing your faces together, dom led you towards the bed and carefully lay you down.

"i'm gonna close the curt–"

"wait no–"

you pulled his arm and let him drop over you, not even minding the slight pain his weight gave you.

"stay.. i can't sleep without you."

dom's ears went red, his eyes averting somewhere else as he shifted on the bed properly to lay next to you and cradle you in his arms.

"okay. i'll stay."

1st Vinny Hong FanFic? I literally have no idea what this should be LOL

Hello all Windbreaker fans and Vinny Hong lovers. This is my first Vinny Hong x female reader fanfic. I hope you enjoy and comments/feedback is always welcome! Thanks :3

So, I didn't realize what kind of fanfic this would be after I finished writing it LMAO. Complete despair and heartbreak hahaha. I just chose to write and not think to hard. tbh I'm pretty happy with it. Let me know what you think :) .... also I did not proof read haha I am lazy.

"Y/N?!"

You're head snaps up to look at your mother sitting in the hospital bed next to you. She looked at you slightly worried.

She tilted her head as she asked "Are you okay? I called your name multiple times."

You sat up straighter in your chair and nodded. "Yes. Sorry. I, uh, just got lost in my thoughts for a moment." A lot had happened in the past couple of weeks. My mother got very sick and ended up in the hospital for a second time, nearly dying due to a brain aneurysm. It had put a lot of stress on every part of our lives, mostly financially. We weren't poor, but we certainly did not have the luxury to not work and stay in the hospital for extended periods.

I had thought about picking up extra hours at my part-time job, but I knew it wouldn't help much and I knew my studies would suffer. I was already struggling to keep my grades up. Besides my part-time job, I had to train for the upcoming final race of League of Streets. I was a part of Hummingbird and it was amazing but like my personal life, it was a mess. So much had happened with our team.

The most recent event was Vinny leaving our team deciding to ride with the Ghost crew. He started doing small races for money, which were broadcasted online. I had seen a few. Everyone was confused and upset including me. The whole reason we created Hummingbird was to compete in LOS and win the price money for Vinny's mother but I guess he had different plans in mind.

"It'll be okay honey" my mom said as she reached for my hand. I let let her hold my hand. It was warm and reassuring.

I smiled. "I know mom. I'm glad you're alright .... I was really scared actually." I could feel the pressure behind my eyes build up.

My mom started tearing up. "I know. I know y/n. but it's okay, I'm okay." She squeezed my hand.

I just nodded. "yeah."

After a few minutes and making sure my mother didn't need anything, I hugged her goodbye and started making my way out of the hospital. I took a seat on a bench that was stationed right next to the entrance of hospital. I had taken a bus here and planned on taking it to get back home. It only took me ten minutes to get to the bus stop, so I had a bit of time before I had to leave. I was really tired and too stressed. I found myself looking for more quiet moments out of my day.

I looked out toward the street across from the hospital. It was already dark out, but there was quite a bit of traffic. Honking interrupted the empty, docile night every now and than.

I heard footsteps come around the corner that ended abruptly once they caught up to the bench I was sitting at. As I turned my head to see what or who it was, I hear a familiar voice.

"What are you doing here?"

Vinny. It was all I thought as my eyes met his. His red eye seemed strikingly brighter than it usually was. Maybe it's just because I hadn't seen him in awhile.

"Oh. I was visiting my mom. She recently had surgery." I explained. ".... Are you hear to see your mom?" I asked.

He was quiet for a second before answering my question. "Yeah, she's staying here."

"MMm that's good. Glad to hear she is getting treatment" I said.

"What about your mom? Is she okay?"

"oh yeah! The surgery went well, so everything is good." I gave a sheepish thumbs up. I always became painfully aware of how awkward I felt when interacting with Vinny. I was a fairly shy person and it didn't help how handsome I thought he was. It took time in the beginning for us to get along and establish a relationship. It wasn't hard for me to figure out soon after that I was falling in love with him.

There was a lot I learned about him after Hummingbird was formed and the more I learned the more I desired to be near him. He was hot headed and pretty reserved, but it never really bothered me. I always went out of my way to greet him at practice and I chat with him when I could. I never cared if it was just small talk.

He just stared at me for a moment before saying "Good to hear that."

I knew what what was coming next, or what wasn't. This would be the end of our conversation. I didn't want it to be.

"How have you been?" I asked.

"I'm fine." He said plainly.

"And Jack?" following it up with a smile.

"He's fine too."

Man of few words I thought. I was used to it but I always wondered what actually behind those words: I'm fine.

"Are you really doing fine? I know I'm probably not the first person you think of when you want to talk to someone, but you're my friend. I'm here for you." I blurted out without much thinking.

When I had mentioned how confusing and upset I was when he left our crew, it was an understatement. I was sad and hurt. I also felt so helpless. He left us all behind and had no desire to return.

I looked down at the backpack I held in my arms. There was so much I wanted to say, but none of it seemed enough.

"I'm sorry for everything that's happened. I know you're having a hard time. I wish you hadn't had to leave the team."

"I don't know why you're apologizing, y/n. You don't need to." He replied.

Vinny walked up closer to me until he stood just a few inches from my feet. I looked up and he gaze had softened just a bit.

"You don't need to worry about me. Just focus on yourself. You have a lot going on."

"Yeah."

There was a moment of silence as Vinny and I held each other's gaze.

Then Vinny turned to leave. "I'll see you later y/n."

Before he took another step, I reached for his hand. It was a light grasp, just enough to stop him.

"Come back to Hummingbird ..... at least, at some point. We'll wait for you. It's nothing without you"

Vinny just stared at me before pulling his hand away from my mine.

"Y/n."

"It doesn't matter if it's not tomorrow, or the next day, or weeks from now! J-just come back. Please." I could feel a increase in my heart rate and the pressure behind my eyes building up again.

Vinny sighed and turned away from me.

"There's no reason for me to come back." He said sternly. "There's nothing you or the others can offer me." He continued has he started walking away.

Something warm slid down the right side of me cheek. I blinked and more came out. I was crying.

I just stood there as I continued to watch him walk away. My crying only worsened and I could feel a lump form in my throat.

I can't give up on you Vinny I thought as I recollected the memories of us together and how much our relationship progressed.

I just can't Vinny. I won't. I love you.

After he was well out of my sight, I finally left for the bus station. I cried the entire way.

For once, I wished it wasn't so quiet out.

A/n : omg hi! Yes it’s true I don’t see many windbreaker fanfics or anything here! And sorry it’s so short! I just came back from vacay and I’m taking things slowly 🫂

You and jay met when you were just kids, since you lived in the same neighborhood and you were knew there, Jay always had you chasing him around.

Now him being socially awkward didn’t matter to you, since you found it easy to speak to him

He liked listening to your rambles and stories, and his presence made you feel understood and seen.

Going to the same school as jay , you’d often be marked as siblings because of how close you two were. Never being seen without each other attached at the hip.

Now when jay met Shelly, he immediately introduced you to her, afterwards minu and dom joined. Forming a bigger friend group

Even though jay was surrounded by many people, he’d cling to you and always come to you first

Wether it’s for advice, venting or just to be comforted. He trusted you the most and always will.

Scolding him is your second job besides babysitting jay, he makes dumb decisions despite his “cool, calm collected” appearance.

his mom LOVES you, and that means your like family, even having keys to his house whenever you want.

Wearing his hoodies, borrowing his stuff, sleeping on his bed, Shelly almost thought you two were dating but immediately explained that you two were super close like siblings

Speaking of siblings, jay’s little brother sees you as a family member to, always showing the cat to you. He gets spoiled rotten by you and jay just scolds you both.

Jay is very protective of you, he knows you can handle everything alone but still he wants to feel closer to you and clings whenever any guy/girl approached you like a older brother

“Hey miss Jo, where’s jay?” the door gets slammed open by you immediately walking in after taking off your shoes by the door. Greeting the cat and jay’s brother. Stealing a bite from the food miss Jo was making.

“You know how he is, he’s racing right now. He’ll be home in 5 minutes. Do you mind emptying the washing machine?”

“You got it.” without much saying, you go upstairs to grab the wet clothes hanging them on the clothe hanger outside the balcony. then going to jay’s room. Stealing a sweatshirt and getting dressed into one of his black sweatpants.

You see the picture of his uncle, you missed him as much as jay did. After all he’s the one that introduced you two together. He treated you like his own kids, always teaching you how to ride bikes.

the door gets opened and jay walks in all sweaty and after he noticed you standing there he just sighs.

“Here again? Seriously, we might as well buy you a bed here.”

“Honestly? You should!” flopping on his bed he gave you some candy he held in his hand. Then sitting besides you taking off his clothes getting dressed into sweatpants and sweatshirt as well.

He threw the dirty clothing on your face, groaning taking it off your face the stench makes your face cringe.

“Go shower , you smell bastard.” getting up from the bed he just pushes you playfully into the wall. running to the shower before you can hit him back. rolling your eyes, going downstairs after miss Jo yelled out that it’s time for dinner.

It truly felt like you were part of the family, Smiling while strutting down the stairs.

Befriending this blondie was one of the best choices you ever made, his vibe and presence alone makes you happy

You met him once at school, crowded by girls and helping him escape them he gratefully gave you a thank you gift ( something way to expensive)

Afterwards he’d just stick to you like a lost puppy, making sure the girls cry and get jealous

Always crying about Shelly to you, weeping into your sweatshirts making wet spots appear and wailing like a baby. Patting his back he continues crying.

whenever you two go outside always making sure you both look good together, matching outfits? Yes boss! even though you looked like a couple, he made sure he got a brother and sister/brother matching t-shirt. As a joke, but you two wear it religiously every now and then.

Matching bracelets and earrings even to necklaces and shoes, Shelly almost thought he got his self a partner and stopped obsessing over her

riding bikes with him, competing though he always wins since this punk can see which way the wind will go, but he’ll even lose on purpose to see your shit eating grin.

Introduced you to Noah, You two hit it off immediately sharing jokes over owen’s obsession with Shelly and the fact the eunuch won instead

he pulls you away from her , afraid she might “influence” you.

Shelly’s dad also knows you because Owen always talks about you, and that’s when you first met Shelly as well.

You two became friends and you’d scold Owen for ruining Shelly and jay’s cute moment, telling him to move on and find a girlfriend.

Sleepovers 24/7 since his apartment feels lonely at times and you being there makes it better

Fighting over stuff like his belongings, saying he was gonna wear that one hoodie, in the end you win because he can’t stand the small pout you make or ignoring him on purpose saying that’s why Shelly chose jay.

He suddenly makes a face after sipping yours a little to much, then giving it back shaking his head like a kid that didn’t like their vegetable.

“It was only good for sippin once, give me mine..please.?”

“Oh my fucking god, here.” handing back his slushy you notice yours is almost empty due to how much he drank turning to him with a wtf face.

He just winks and locks your arm with his and keeps walking, lowering your head in defeat you ask yourself why you even approached him before.

But when he smiles at you, forgetting about your anger and just smiling back.
