Citizens communicate and rely on computer systems, mapping and satellites to navigate the space, along with mobile devices containing imaging and video functions to capture it. In line with these rapid developments certain creative processes are moving progressively towards digital technology. Parkour encompasses timestretched samples of expressive movement through urban space. Demonstrating alternative utilisation of the space - movements outside the prescribed or planned use - thereby reclaiming it for positive, shared use. Parkour represents the anarchic activity of running, climbing and jumping through urban space in the most efficient way possible.
