saw this post months ago and "national bigender association" has not left my mind since. so of course i drew my one bigender oc in an nba jersey. andre would have a shai jersey cus they're both #RealFashionistas but she has a bootleg one that's purple instead of blue cus that's her signature color

started hunting thru his parents. i feel like hes that kind of badass where he has two hunting parents
- also jaren is just so put together i think it makes sense for him to not have overt trauma that got him into hunting
- not that he wouldnt have ANY trauma related to hunting, hunting is an inherently traumatic job tbh, but i think it makes sense for him to have both parents that were showing him the ropes
- i think itd be funny of jaren had parents like linus ocean eleven’s parents, where they sometimes swoop in and save jaren even when he doesnt want it

- hes on the road because hes looking for a cure to his were-bear-ness (maybe the guy who turned him? idk)

- still hunts to convince himself hes not evil (bc he thinks being a were-bear makes him inherently evil)

started hunting thru his dad
- his dad hunted but retired from it to settle down with a family
- but one day a were-bear attacks him at school and his dad saves him
- derails his entire life and his dad starts “training” him
- ja is currently on the road essentially just doing what the winchester brothers were doing—trying to hunt down the thing that derailed his life

still a pastors son and is still just as religious
jaren and ja meet him on a hunt
gg does performs music for his church (mostly drumming), also makes some of his own music (both just like irl)
-also a were-bear too, thats how jaren and ja meet him.
- because of his faith and his dad he has soo much guilt over it and feels the need to hide it (bc his dad told him that its for the better that he did)
in the “episode” where jaren and ja meet him:
- there was a series of non violent, bear attacks in a town. but when they get there, no one wants to talk about it. its like theyre hiding something. protecting something maybe
- when they investigate more the clues leas back to a specific church (gg’s church)
- jaren is getting angry (unreasonably so, to the point where ja starts telling him to chill) because he hates that theyre protecting a “monster” but when he sees gg cower in fear to them, and have the same exact guilt he did, all the anger leaves his body

his dad, fred, is a older hunter that jaren and ja run into.
he’s someone like bobby or ellen in supernatural, where hes a pillar for hunters to come to.
jaylen and fred are connected to a network of hunters. jaylen and fred’s goal is to help younger hunters get on their feet. (like how jaylen’s non-profit SLEEPNATION helps underappreciated players)
they also help with research. like hunters can call them up and ask them for help/info (again, similar to bobby’s role in spn)
jaylens siblings live pretty normal lives but know how to hunt bc their dad taught them for safety. but jaylen turned out to be the best and most passionate at hunting. but his dad still pushes him to maintain a somewhat normal life so he is going to college for something related to hunting (religion? mythology maybe???)

from jaren’s home state (indiana), they met when jaren was younger and hunting on his own for a bit
they met while hunting, but des stays in indiana bc he’s settled down and wants to stay close to his family
jaren/ja
met because they kept running into each other on hunts
on one of these hunts, they find out theyre looking for the same thing (were-bear), jaren proposes teaming up, and ja rejects because he “works alone”
later on that night, ja saves jaren
- ja: “and be stuck saving your ass all the time? no way”
and later, jaren saves ja,
- “see? i can save your ass too”
- ja grumbles and is kind of flustered
when the hunt is over and it looks like theyre about to split ways, jaren brings it up again
- “we were pretty good together back there”
- he proposes a hunt he was looking at, and says it looks like it might be a two man job
- “i was looking at a case in lawrence, not too far from here. looks like it might be a two man job… wanna look over it over dinner? on me.”
